Ordered a pizza for over £8 and got a frozen pizza with all the toppings and cheese shoved on one-side. Clearly the box wasn't kept flat and the kitchen didn't care. Just send out any old rubbish. The actual pizza base was rock hard and even the steak knife had trouble cutting it. After managing to cut a slice and eating a bite, it was clear the pizza was awful. I complained to the lad who brought it to me. He told me to go to the bar and speak with the Manager. Despite the photo, he asked "what's wrong with the pizza?" And I picked up the disk of pizza with a small slick taken out and banged it on the plate and said "it's rock hard, the toppings are all to one side where it's been kept in the freezer and it's not worth £2, let alone the £8.55 paid!" The Manager never apologised but just refunded me the money. He wouldn't even guarantee I would get a decent pizza if I ordered again!!! Wetherspoons used to offer decent food at reasonable prices. However, they've now turned into McDonald's - offering diabolical food at extortionate prices!!!! I would NEVER go there again!!!

A modern Wetherspoons set in the centre of Bradford, contrasting with the impressive Victorian Gothic Town Hall across the way. A delightful water feature with fountains is overlooked by the Wetherspoons, which must be so pleasant on a warm day to sit outside and watch the world go by. There was an excellent variety of draught beer and good service. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Local photos of the area were displayed, giving an insight into the proud past of Bradford. There's an upper floor and bar as well. The ladies were clean and tidy. Not the easiest of places to visit due to the one way system in operation. I'd visit again if travelling by public transport.

My first visit to the Turks Green I was surprised that it was a newish building and a dining room both on the ground and first floors, we ate upstairs as it was not as busy, the young lady behind the bar was very pleasant. Our food was soon with us and it was hot (✓) from upstairs we had a good view over Centenary Square.what did we eat well Cod & Chips with mushies which is my standard nosh in a spoons. Would I return? Yes but Bradford is not a place I visit often but another trip out with our bus passes is not beyond the possibilities but it will need to be warmer.

Shocking service from start to leaving cancelling food. New lady on bar was only person woth an ounce of customer service and Scott the manager blsmed her for poor kitchen management. Ordered 2 identical curries and couple of starters no delays on service and after 20 minutes no fod yet 4 tables who ordered at least 5 minutes after us had been all served? Chased food told there was 30 minutes wait time by rude man at bar. Explained we had ordered and no delay at time and the customers who oredered after us had been served? Manager was told so he could check, 5 minutes later curries arrive. Starters being fetched, one curry barely warm one hot. Starters wrong and waiter argued with me on what had ordered, after several times of repesting what I ordered he took my meal and starters away to replace and correct.

10 minutes later no food, asked waiter to ask come and see us. Waiter went away then came back said what did I want him for he was dealing with my food. I said I wanted to speak to him, as it turns out it was Scott who brought meals out.

Explained to Scott the poor service and issues, he became defensive and rude and told us food came out in order of service. Basically told us we had not seen 4 tables served food before ours. Even said how did we know they had been served before us and when we told him we watched them come in, sit down then order after we had placed our order he said perhaps their orders took less time to make. When I said how can this be possible as 3 had full meals table next to us had starters so one this was feasible he continued to argue and said I was being unreasonable. Scott refused to see how poor our meal had been including how my Wife had virtually finished and I still had no food. This was apparently my fault as he was personally making my meal and zi had stopped him as I wanted to speak to him.

I asked if he was a chef, response I have been trained in kitchen asked again and no he was not a chef. As manager his role was to manage the kitchen and deal with issues not cook one off meals.

At this point I said to cancel my meal and refund me as I was noy prepared to stay and eat.

Only saving grace Scott did a full refund but at best his apology was to blame the lady for wrong food. Scott you seriously need to get some customer service training and manage complaints more professionally.

Weatherspoons is better than this and were regular visitors, we will not be going back...

Me and my family visited this pub spontaneously after finishing at the cinema and I had track suit bottoms on and the bouncer let me in to the pub and didn't raise any issues with it. After about 10 minutes a different bouncer came along and said that I can't be inside the pub with track suit bottoms and I highlighted that there were multiple people inside the pub with track suit bottoms on and he then said I could stay as long as I covered my legs and didn't go to the bar, I said okay fine. Had he insisted that I left at that moment, I would have happily left and got changed and then returned to my family. This same bouncer went over to talk to another gentleman who was also wearing track suit bottoms and this gentleman became violent and had to be physically escorted out of the pub. About an hour later, this bouncer came upto me a second time to tell me that I had to leave after telling me an hour before that I could stay as long as I didn't go to the bar. We told him we'd ordered food and was waiting, to which he agreed again and let me stay. After we'd finished out food the same bouncer who let me into the club initially came to our table and told us to leave. We asked why they were messing us around by constantly going around in circles asking us to leave and then say its okay for us to stay. Both bouncers' response was that they'd kicked a white guy out earlier and that if they let an Asian lad stay then their area manager will think they're racists. So did he basically mean if my skin colour was white, I'd be allowed to stay?? Frustrated with the constant indecisive and quite rude behaviour of the bouncer, we asked to speak to the duty manager called Nikki, who could only say that the bouncers had done us a favour by letting us stay 2 hours. I explained to her that she'd not dine us any favours because the bouncers just kept going around in circles asking me to leave and then saying I can stay, I would've rather not been let in at all than have to put up with that kind of behaviour. She had nothing further to say and just kept repeating herself. On the way out the bouncer, told my auntie to...

Been before and had higher rating. Visited today 11th August. With my partner in a wheelchair. There was an event in the park and the pub was rammed. To top it off upstairs looked empty but the list was not working. All tables down stairs were taken or full of dirty glasses. I asked two different servers to clear the table. Both were too busy with other jobs. Bar staff said not their department. I explained to the second server that we wanted to order online as my wife was worried that she could not safely get to the bar, we asked for our table number and we told 118. The disc was missing on the table do we had to ask to use the app, there isis mention that you can't customise food like at the bar. I.e. remove cheese from a burger or peas from fish and chips. Either on the so or from the staff, So once ordered I had to go to the bar to explain the issue and ask them to tell kitchen to make food how I wanted. I cleared my own table and as I did two slightly drunk guys started hitting on my wife and ten year old daughter. They even poured their drinks on my table when I explained they were hitting on my wife and I didn't work here and wanted him to move so I could re join my family. We were also given the wrong number. The till staff didn't realise it was the wrong number. A server did when I asked to confirm my table number as things were taking a while. We are on 18 not 118 please get a number put on the table and train your staff about the numbering. Wish now id not come here. Worst day out every. Daughter kicking off. Staff unhelpful. Complete waste of money. 20. Mins later still no drinks or food. After complaining to management the server offered to refund out of his pocket at the same time management did a PayPal refund. So we politely refused his offer as we didn't realise it was coming from his own pocket. But it was a...
