First I just want to state that I have worked in retail and restaurants for many years and understand the stresses and issues these staff members have. However I have had an awful experience while in Nandos. It first started when we were sat down without being told that the tills were currently experiencing issues and were not operational. We then were told to wait without any drinks offered and nothing else provided. After 20 minutes I was absolutely shocked that the staff members did not have the idea to whip out a classic NOTE PAD AND PEN and start taking orders that customers could pay for later once the tills we're operational. At this time consumers were still being welcomed and sat which was obviously a bad idea and something we will come back to later. After another 10 minutes the tills were finally opened and of course the whole restaurant rushed to them resulting in a close to 20 minute queue being formed. After this whole ordeal we finally got our meals, at this point I was so hungry that I started eating the chicken burger without any real observations. It wasn't until near the middle of the burger I saw that the chicken was slightly pink which I was horrified by. I then stopped a member of staff walking past and showed them the burger which they said they would replace. As I watched my pink burger go back I saw what looked like a female manager with blonde hair and a white shirt meet with the member of staff that had my burger, laugh at it and stare directly at me with an annoyed and rude stare. It was bad enough that my meal was raw but to see what looked like the manager act so unprofessional was the last straw and I know that I have to make this review. I'm normally very lenient on restaurants due to my past work places but this experience was so awful that I had to express my feelings. Thanks for taking the time and reading this review.

I am writing this complaint after much deliberation.
I am writing to you today to address a concerning issue that I faced during my recent visit to your establishment.
As a loyal Nando's customer for over 25 years, I was utterly disgusted by the disgraceful and disrespectful behaviour of some of your diners.
During my visit, I witnessed other diners throwing food, across to our table and around the restaurant, causing chaos and disturbing other customers' dining experience. The food on the floor became a health and safety hazard. While this was happening, the management team did not intercept or take any action to stop the inappropriate behaviour, other than one lady saying to the table in question they were not being noisy, which only made the situation more unbearable.
In fact my husband spoke to the group upon leaving mentioning how disgusted he was.
As a customer, I do not expect to witness such behaviour in a reputable establishment like Nando's. It was embarrassing to have to sit through and endure this kind of unpleasant experience while trying to enjoy my meal with my family. It is unacceptable that such behaviour was permitted to continue for an extended period without any intervention from the management team.
I urge the management team to take strong disciplinary action against such behaviour to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all customers. Such unruly behaviour can not only affect customers' dining experiences but can also tarnish the restaurant's reputation.
I hope that you will take immediate action to ensure that this kind of behaviour is not allowed to take place in the future. I would also appreciate a response regarding the action taken by the management team to address this issue.

The first issue I encountered was with the service. The staff was not only slow but also lacked basic courtesy. The person near the till, who appeared to be of Asian descent, was particularly rude. I approached the counter with a simple request and was met with an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. It’s one thing to have a bad day, but it’s another to take it out on customers.
Adding to my frustration, I specifically ordered a vegetarian meal. I made it clear that I wanted a veggie option, but to my dismay, I was served a non-vegetarian dish instead. This mistake is unacceptable, especially considering that many people have dietary restrictions and preferences that should be respected. When I brought this up to the staff, there was no apology, just a dismissive attitude that only added to my disappointment.
