Bagaras is undeniably Bristol's best for authentic Indian cuisine. Convenience is key: they boast impressive takeaway packaging and are available for delivery on Just Eat and Uber Eats. The dining area is spacious and accommodating, with outdoor seating—perfect for families and large groups.

The bar is equally exceptional, offering a comprehensive selection of beers, wines, classic cocktails, mocktails, and liquor to perfectly complement the food.

The food is truly yummy and authentic. Starters (Chilli Paneer, Chicken Malai Tikka) are tender, the Tandoori Roti is soft, and the Chettinadu Chicken Masala features a perfect, non-spicy spice blend. The Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani is a must-try; the lamb is incredibly soft.

Beyond presentation and flavour, the hygiene is impeccable; I personally confirmed the kitchen is spotless. I must strongly recommend "Bagaras" to everyone seeking a high-quality, authentic...

We had a wonderful experience at this new Indian restaurant in Bristol. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared, with just the right balance of spices. It was clear that a lot of care went into every dish. We left feeling very satisfied and already looking forward to coming back again soon. And while speaking with the owner himself he offered that next time we come he can ask to cook specific food and he will be more then happy to provide it spicy, non spicy chilli delicious anything!!...

We went to Bagaras on Friday night and the food was brilliant. All really tasty and well made. The paneer starter was 👌🏼. Menu isn’t huge but they’ve clearly perfected what’s on there. The poppadoms were a little expensive for what you get, but the chutneys were nice.

It’s a good set up in there, but I do think it should be busier for a Friday night. I understand it’s new, but it’s located in the middle of lots of houses, I only knew about it because I walk past it most days, more advertisement needed!
