Had a really bad experience here. Was told on entry there was approx 15 minute wait for food... fair enough. After waiting for 20 minutes, checked in with person serving who literally just sighed and said 'I'll check'. He came back and said it would be another 4 minutes. 10 minutes later I ask again and am told it'll be another 4 minutes, no apology or even acknowledgement of the delay. Another 10 minutes pass and and I finally receive one portion of fish and chips, 40 minutes after ordering and still not even an apology. Second time ive been here . Wouldn't bother both times were below average.

Asked for a homemade fishcake, wasnt sure if he had any so checked the freezer and there was 1 left i asked when it was made and he couldn't tell me. Ive worked in kitchens before to know that isnt a good sign.

Chips were all crispy and hard, not 1 fatty soft chip (look at pic) seems as though they're refried or just poor quality. Dont waste your money, not sure how you cant even get the chips right when you're a chippy. Went in at around 5pm as well, so peak hours really. Curry sauce...

Been coming here every Fri night for years.but the last few months the food has gone down hill.sometimes I've had to recook the chips as they are not cooked enough.but tonight the food was cold the pie was dried out and the chips wernt cooked enough.so we will not be returning.im very sure other people must be thinking the same.so i would say the people cooking this rubbish needs to be trained how to cook food before you let them...
