I discovered this place by accident. The decore is minimalist and tasteful. There was a nice Continental atmosphere and the young lady (who I presume was the owner) was very pleasant and actually knew something about the coffee she was selling; showing me information about the countries of origin. I also had a very nice cake and there was a small hand made selection of savoury sandwiches etc as well. It was also reasonably priced considering it's an independent cafe. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and child friendly. Although it was not wheelchair accessible I have been informed that there will be a ramp installed soon. I would definitely recommend and will certainly be returning.

I couldn’t recommend KIN enough. Such a gorgeous local coffee shop! If you’re ever in the area then please give these guys a visit. A very welcomed addition to Sandy Park. Amazing food and the best coffee around (even the little cups they use are amazing, and made locally which is even better). Thanks KIN and we can’t wait for our next visit

A much needed addition to the area. Enjoyed a very tasty toastie (went back again later in the week to order again). Can't wait to see how it all evolves. Went back on a Sunday, they now do breakfast baps 👍 very nice with the great coffee ☕ Baby friendly, my daughter loved her babycino and there are toys and books as well 😊

Generally Kin is a nice place and a good addition to the high street, however, don’t expect efficient service. We recently ordered 4 coffees for takeaway and were advised there was a small waiting time which was fine by us. That small waiting time somehow became over 45 minutes, which is quite unbelievable as it really wasn’t very busy at all. The lady who was making them was quite rude to us whilst claiming to have brought out two of the four coffees, said we weren’t there (we were waiting outside) and so had thrown them away - but this just didn’t make sense as we had been waiting outside the entire time, and it still took another 10-15 minutes for all 4 coffees to be made (why would you only make 2/4 but then need another 15 minutes to make the other two?).

Given 3 stars because in the past we’ve had a good experience here and clearly this was an off day otherwise it...

I had the most beautiful lunch today at Kin. I had a vegan lunch Portobello mushrooms, smokey vegan cheese, a hash brown on a bed of Spinach in a gorgeous bagel. It was delicious. The latte with oat milk served in a cute Pottery handleless cup was also delicious. I wish I had taken photos. You can see the attention to detail in every aspect of kin. The atmosphere although a busy lunchtime was really calming and relaxing. There was a comfy settee area as well of plenty of tables. Children and dog friendly and lovely staff. I thoroughly recommend this place, a wonderful place to eat or just meet up with friends for coffee, I must try the cakes next time they...
