Better Food — Restaurant in Bristol

This is a darn good shop and I've been a regular since it opened - it's the 'little sister' of the bigger shop in St Werburghs. It offers such a wide variety of food - you can get almost anything you need on your shopping list here and you know it will be good quality and, if possible, local too. You can really feel the seasons changing when you go into this shop and you can always get advice on things, as well as picking seasonal recipes. Their cheese counter is amazing and the chap behind it just LOVES cheese! They have labels on things telling you where they have come from and how far away the local meat, cheese and veg producers are. I always really enjoy my experience shopping here - which is more than can be said for the supermarkets on Whiteladies Road. Mixed blessings. The food to sit and eat is on the whole amazing, really truly delicious fresh and tasty, with great vegan and vegetarian options, and the coffee is one of the best I've tasted in Bristol. However, downside are the rather brusque and haughty staff, who as another reviewer has commented seem uninterested in customer service and often have rather peculiar hair/piercings which is a bit offputting when you are trying to order. The organic fruit was very disappointing with no flavour and soft inedible apples. The prices are extremely high, and at that price I would love to have better customer service, but then this seems to be standard in Clifton to look down your nose at everyone. Also, I know it cannot be helped due to space considerations but the seating area is very small and cramped, I don't like being that intimate...

The worst place ever!!! If shop open and by the policy they supost work, don't be shock if they tell you what they can't serve you and sold you a coffee, because they have a lot to do in the morning!!! That is normal in this place!!! If someone like Emma (young girl) talks with you and your child every time like with piece of .. don't be surprise too!! Don't understand how such a rood people can work in some like that place!! They don't respect people and potential clients.. don't serve you then they suppose,because shop is open and customers always first and after you can finish what you done,pack, delivery and so on.. we always shop with all my family in this shop and now nooooo... never again,you just lost about 10 every day...
