Burger King — Restaurant in Bristol

It all begun at the end of World War 2, possibly even before that. But for the sake of simplicity we will start there. The Soviet Union takes Berlin, its the 2nd of May 1945, the division officially begins and so does the cold war. The Soviet Union falls, but the "cold war" rages on, spies and espionage, secrets and lies, enemies and allies. The lines are blurry. We are in 2022, Russia invades Ulkraine, causing a mass exodus of women and children. Two of those women make it to Italy, then Cardiff, Wales. And this is where our story begins. Everything that has happened led us to this moment, in this Burger King, on the 1st of January 2023. After spending a lovely weekend with those two beautiful Ulkrainian girls, and celebrating the New Year with a bang, we made our way back, stopped at burger King to grab some food, and this is where the review begins. There was a woman "Karen" complaining that she had to wait for 20 minutes to get her food, and "it wasn't good enough" and that she will "post a good review, not!" as me and my friend are about to order another gentleman says "don't botha orderin' maate, food will arrive cold and you ll wait ages" "oh thanks", I reply. I look at my friend and my friends says "nah its okay I don't mind waiting" there! He gave me the reassurance I needed. I proceeded with the order, the food arrived with 2 minutes, the quickest I have ever gotten served, EVER. The food was delicious, yummy and succulent. The service was excellent, friendly and rapid. The atmosphere was nice as well, especially after the lady who complained left. And the staff that have to work on a New Years Day, I just want to thank them, you are all Diamonds.

Through Deliveroo I placed an order in this BK. It took 1 hour to arrive since I placed it which is really a long waiting time. Deliveroo just took 10/15 minutes to arrive and this means that BK took 45/50 minutes to prepare my order (2 burgers, chilli cheese bites and fries). I ordered 1 Chicken Royale meal, 12 chilli cheese bites and 1 bacon double cheese XL just sandwich. Instead of 12 bites I received just 6 and instead of the bacon double XL I received a normal double cheese + a portion of fries that no one ordered (1 was with the meal but the second one wasn’t mine). On the receipt attached to the bag the order is correct and when I called BK to ask explanation about it (1 hour to wait my wrong order) and they told me that probably the Deliveroo driver changed or took something. Explain me how it’s possible?????? I told them that was impossible because on both the bags of the chilli cheese bites I’ve got 3x and this means 6 total and not 12 and a burger was there but wasn’t the one I ordered. 1 hour to wait for just 2 burgers and my order was wrong. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! And ridiculous they tried to give the fault...

The cold drinks machine had a lot of flavours which were unavailable. When I managed to find a flavour that was there it was unpleasant and I had to throw this away. I told the attendant and a drink was dispensed from behind the till. The rest of the food was fine and as expected. Also when leaving the site by car there are some low raised ledges presumably to separate the incoming and exiting vehicles. They are not clearly visible at night especially as there are no lights in the vicinity. I managed to collide with the kerb on exiting. No damage to my vehicle as I hit it at low speed but not exactly vehicular friendly. You may laugh at this but I bet you I will not be the first and I won't be the last to do this especially if you are not familiar with the layout. This could be easily avoided with a visible bollard or chevron sign indicating the presence of the raised kerb. Overall the whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and made me regret my decision not to go to a well known competitor, just down the road, which I have used for years and never had...
