A humble cafe with friendly hosts. The place was lit up with a nice chandelier, bright walls, a small christmas tree to top it up with some soothing music.

Veg Hola Salad :

A mexican salad which consisted of corn, red beans, lettuce, broccoli, bell peppers in salsa dressing. It has the potential of being a great start to your meal !

Paneer Kadai Slider :

A cheesy naan stuffed with ample amount of medium spicy paneer based thick gravy.. Although I've had this dish in many other places (the names slightly differ) , this one would be in the top shelf.

Pesto Cottage Cheese Panini :

Panini stuffed with a bed of lettuce, tomato and pesto flavored cottage cheese. It was slightly sour to my liking, maybe the white sauce which they put on top, that adds a bit to the sour flavour.

Achari Paneer Tikka Roll :

Tender cubes of cottage cheese marinated in delectable achari spices along with a salad of cabbage, carrot, etc wrapped in a roomali roti.. The saltiness in the salad could have been toned down a bit, keeping in mind the zingy flavor of the marination.

Overall, the experience was pleasant given the friendly hosts, soothing ambience and...

The burger I had was nice, but not great, I'm afraid. I found the way that everything was handled was a little 'amateur hour,' in that they forgot something on my order despite it not being busy in the slightest, (I reckon about 6 people over than my girlfriend and I) and when they brought over most of the food, the guy had next to no customer service skills, almost looking at the floor as he handed the food over, I could also barely hear whatever he did say. But alas, the food tasted okay. I ordered some rosemary chips (the item that was forgotten) and when they brought them over (after I finished the "first part?" Of my meal, they were basically normal chios with dried rosemary leaves sprinkled over the top. I was at least expecting them to be tossed in rosemary oil or something, but no, you could have just brushed the small amount of rosemary off of them and had normal chios haha. The staff are friendly and I understand this cafe doesn't advertise itself as being 'flashy' in any way, but man, bit of a let down for the price of...

Hey, Cafe Kino was great. I'm checking out what it's like to be on a vegan diet for a month (6th day) and hit burger place actually hit the (or some) spot! I mean, I'm one to compare a beef patty to a vegan bun, to be honest. Texture wise it doesn't quite compare for me, because I appreciate the 1/3 bun, then 1/3 meat, then 1/3 bun texture-ratio when chomping down on a burger. In any case the patty was really nice; I just had to get into my head that's it's a different experience. The seeded-bun was slightly dry, so that coulda been better. Sauces were nice, REALLY liked the mayo with the chips. Vegan coleslaw was really good, too! This isn't really saying much, as I am not describing the flavours - I wouldn't be one to try. 4/5 go try it.

Nice place to eat too, open space with a lot of light. Good vibe. May get a bit loud sometimes, but that's what you want in a burger place, right?

That's all. Thanks.

PS I had the original burger with 2 sides. PS try Club Mate if...

Wow what a find!! We didn’t fancy queuing in the rain for the cafe opposite so came into Cafe Kino instead. I don’t think it’ll be long until there are queues outside this place as well. Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere with lots of space, you’re not cramped in like most breakfast places on this road) Good music, and the food was incredibly tasty. Both myself and my friend aren’t vegans but loved the breakfast and will certainly make this place a regular stop for food. Great value as well. For two of us, we had two big breakfasts, plus a coffee and an orange juice each and it was only £30.. this is whether spoons territory without the grease. These guys have got it spot on, simple straight forward menus with a good base set of choices which makes choosing what you want super easy. We will be back for lunch there as well as the lunch menu looked equally as nice.

My daughter being a vegan suggested this local co-operative Vegan Cafe for our breakfast, luckily got a table for two, phew.. Freshly prepared food and locally ethically sourced is wonderful to see and even though I'm not a vegan, I totally support these not-for-profit businesses and workers, well done! The staff were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and welcoming and informed us of the wait for our breakfasts before we ordered which is so appreciated and not often done anymore. Her Flat Latte and my double shot Latte were perfect and full of flavour. Our Full Kino breakfasts were so tasty and absolutely delicious! Very funky and rustic decor inside and highly recommended for a truly wonderful Vegan breakfast and lovely tasty coffees. Thank you to all the staff for such a great experience and place, well done! Definitely having the cakes next time...
