Exceptional Service, Exquisite Food, Excellent Price & Unforgettable Experience. Top 5 things to order: 1. Crispy Duck Pancakes (yum!) 2. 3 Starter Course (choose 3 from 12 options) 3. Thai Green/Red Curry (ask for fresh chilli's) 4. Iced Milky Tea (tapioca styled) 5. Pad Thai (traditional dish, safe and happy) A hidden gem is an understatement, this is a diamond placed in Bristol shimmering in such a subtle way. First & Foremost. The choice of food, the quality in presentation, the impact the taste and flavour has and the little notions of expectations set by those serving you to keep the quality of service as premium, consistent and cosy as can be. I came here on a random visit and was met by something surprising entirely. They had a valentines set menu, they had a pre-set menu with starters, first course, main all with options. Their drinks menu (completely non-alcoholic) has some varied options, and drink sizes also a great bonus if you order large, expect a pint glass. Atmosphere was buzzing, no background music, it's literally a small family style resturant that has a lot of character and ornaments on display for your eyes to venture through. Fresh flowers (brownie points to the business) for bringing in Thai style florals and even fresh roses for the valentines & weekend. I absolutely loved the level of care put in by everyone there regarding meal preference, wait expectations, course break down, speed of service. Asking if the meal had enough spice, enough dipping sauce. They even topped up my rice when I asked to take the rest home with my curry (was not expecting that). The level of care comes through right from the accommodating phone call at their busiest hour to reserve a table all the way through to the food. They have a lovely dessert menu that I recommend you save some space for. Even if it means staring at the rest of your main and debating to take it home to make the room, might be worth it. Will definitely be making this place a regular when I drop by Bristol City!

The rating was so good that we took the bus from Bristol city center all the way up here to try out. We ordered the vegetarian two course set menu (2 person set) and was extremely disappointed with the selection. Starter - a salad and a plate of tempura + spring roll. Personally think there were just too much oily fried stuff as a starter occupied the stomach before the main is being served. (Not the worst part) Main course - 3 vege dishes and a green curry. All 3 vege dishes shared the same ingredients of carrots, courget, mushroom, baby corns and pepper. The sauce tasted the same too although one was supposed to be oyster sauce, and one was soy sayce. They were all extremely salty. The green curry taste ok but again it was way too salty. We thought the combination of the set menu (that looks the same) has alot of room for improvement. For example swap out one with tom yum soup or something else. Maybe the a la carte dishes taste better but we went for set menu thinking that should be the best combination the we could get from a first-time-visit restaurant. There was one plus positive point though, the green milk tea and hot milk tea was super delicious, reminded us about life in Asia. Overall there’s room for improvement for the taste and set menu combination.

I’ve been here 2 or 3 times now, and it has to be one of my favourite places to go in Bristol. The first time I’ve been here it was for my mums birthday and I didn’t know they do these birthday song and a dessert, when my mum got severed it was a total surprise even for me but I’m glad they did as she really enjoyed her first time experience there! As I’m trying all these new Korean and Thai foods as it’s just different than what I’m used to and I just love the culture too. This is also the first place I have been at that serves the sesame chicken toast! About the staff now, they’re brilliant! They’re always so nice and friendly towards the customers or atleast that’s the vibe im getting from them. I wish I knew their names so I could thank them and mention them here! But it was a lady and a guy that served me today and on my mom’s birthday. I’m hoping to come here for my dads for the same experience for him, I’m hoping to become a regular soon 😂 I live nearby and the prices for the amount of food is great, and very good, I’ve had other Thai food before coming here and I must say this has to be one of my favourites. I really don’t understand how some people can say that the staff was horrible or that the place is trash..

I never left a review before but have to today after my experience at Everyday Thai. I don't want to be a negative person and I am leaving this constructive comment and hope that the restaurant can take it on board. I used to come here alot, the food and service have always been amazing and I would recommend to anyone I know. I decided to treat myself tonight and go to dine in, booked a table quite close to time but got reservation straight away. However the experience tonight was very disappointed to me. First is about time keeping. We came at 7.40, got starter served at 8.45, were asked to move table at 9.00 and had our main at 9.40. I know that the restaurant is always busy but I've never experienced this before. Waiting time this frustrating especially when I waited long enough for the starter, waiting 40 mins between courses is upseting for me personally. I think once the food is served, it should be kept rolling, the restaurant seems to miss a trick here. Second is the food itself. Trio starter quantity is not much (3 pieces of fishcake and 3 pieces of calamari). Duck soup noodles was not good today, the soup tasted like vinegar. Vegetable in the soup is just cooked but still on the edge of raw. Thirdly is the reason we have for the wait. We did complain to the manager and wanted to cancel our food because we have to leave at 10. The manager politely apologied to us. We appreciate that he offered 10% for the long wait. He explained that it has been hard for them as well because the uber orders were not collected which then results in delays. I understand how frustrating it is for the manager, the staffs and the kitchen and I think the key here is prioritising your order. For today I didn't feel like dine in customers were prioritised. Overload on your online order shouldn't be the reason why I have to wait 2 hours to have my main. At the end of the day, we trust you and love you enough to make the effort come to the restaurant, hoping to spend a good night dining out. I believe that there are ways to balance out your mix of online and dine in order and methods to maximize your productivity. I do hope that you understand my love for your restaurant and how frustrated I am after this experience. I could not give this feedback there and then because we were in a rush and seems like everyone is too busy, we also didn't want to ruin the atmosphere for other diners. I was told this should be an one off but I do believe things could have been done to avoid it. I hope I could come back next time to experience the top class...

I’m afraid this is more of an apology than a review! I had a good meal here but was worried that I could taste and see meat which the owner came and explained was actually egg, which when cooked in the Pad Thai sauce does look like this could very well be meat. I explained that it was too stiff and looked like shredded pork texture and I was convinced their Chef had made a mistake and have to apologise to the restaurant workers because this is very very similar looking to the Pad Thai I’ve just had over at home in a local restaurant and like rubber almost the egg is very stiff. I didn’t believe it was even possible to make egg go like that but it seems I was wrong! As hard as it is to admit and change my mind, I’d rather come clean than carry a lie and stick to what I had thought tasted and looked exactly like meat! Being a vegetarian for a couple of years now I couldn’t stand the thought of eating meat again, although it won’t kill me I know but that’s all irrelevant because this man I saw was telling the truth and I know how hard they work at the business and also the work running a restaurant is very busy and never stops, it isn’t merely putting food on plates and cleaning the dishes. The food was actually as good as other Thai restaurants I’ve been, I think actually it’s better value and could even be just as busy if they were a little more expensive also. I’d like the owner to contact me so I can pay again to show genuine that I’d pay twice because I feel bad for arguing about something I was in-fact mistaken/paranoid about and hope he can forgive my ignorance and his wife, like he said, she is a great cook and not made a mistake. Warm...
