We've had food from here before and really enjoyed most of our meal. Would recommend the papdi aloo chat and the dal saag which were both delicious and well spiced. The order was let down by the 'crispy honey chilli pototes' which were cooked frozen oven chips with onions and sauce. I rang up to check that it wasn't a mistake and was told that if I'd had them in the restaurant they would be different and there's not much they can do when they're in a tub. Bit surprised that frozen oven chips are used when everything else we had was so delicious and fresh and other takeaway restuarants use serve similar style fresh and crispy potato dishes. Did ask for a refund for this dish but can't do this online so have to go down to collect/or swap for a different item next time. Customer service was not the greatest. *edit. Thanks for the reply. The first person I spoke to on the phone was really abrupt and quite rude and basically hung up after telling me if I'd come into the resurant it would have been different and saying bye. Same when I explained the website didn't update to say the food was ready to collect or countdown to being ready. Was just told they'd pass on to the website people. The food had been waiting for 40minutes but no apoology when I rang or came in and explained.

A gem of an Indian restaurant. Looks tiny on the outside but the lovely decor goes back for a mile on the inside. The best poppadoms I've seen or tasted, a beautiful bonsai arrangement with some crispy cone things and multicoloured rice crackers - bring some friends just so you get the full effect. The mains lived up to the intros. We had chickpeas, rara gosht and chicken kebabs, all deliciously spiced and very generous portions. Just managed to get out of there before I ate the entire complementary dish of crunchy aniseed sweets. An unassuming jewel of Easton. Only quibble - if you like it hot, specify volcanic. Mine built to a nice warmth level but was still a medium IMO, and my wife classified hers as mild. But it was too good to deduct stars for that.

Took delivery through uber eats. Prices are on the higher side for main courses but quantity is decent. Taste wise , it's decent as well. Most of the indian restaurants in UK are not upto the mark. This one is decent in taste, good in quantity. Kesar pulao is good quantity for us with 3.50 price. Dhaba murg is okay taste wise, nothing disappointing. But the malai mrug tikka requires improvement significantly. It was without any malai as such and also it was far from soft which is the key feature of malai tikka.. Also, raita with kesar pulao(as called out on uber eats menu) was missed in delivery. Will try other items next time..

Incredible!

Went to Msala library with my family and what a pleasant atmosphere to be in. Firstly the food was so delicious, felt like a taste of our good ol’ panjab in each spoonful. The food was so more-ish. The spice and flavour were perfect. Such a hearty good meal, also so many great vegetarian options. I loved how you could take the makhi, out of the dhal for example and it was vegan. So the restaurant is quite adaptable to all your dietary requirements. Again making a great place for some dinner! Secondly, all the staff were so friendly, especially, Neki. She was so lovely, we all had a laugh with her. It’s such a nice place to be with your family, the restaurant; albeit I’ve only been there once, felt like home. Will definitely be revisiting again. Lastly, the speed at which the food delivered was crazy. We ordered and before we knew it the food had come out, piping hot. We burnt our mouths eating it, but it just looked so good we couldn’t wait to tuck it! Being an Indian, we know when we have great authentic Indian food! This was exactly that! Can’t wait to return back to Msala Library. A big thanks to all the staff for making our evening so memorable...

I got to start by admitting that I have only had food from this place as takeaway (or delivery more like it.) However this place is the reason why I can no longer have a chicken korma from any other place, it just does not taste as great as from Msala Library (I feel a tad bit spoiled). Now I know it's abit boring to have a korma (but listen, I'm Danish and we don't eat spicy food ok) AND to reiterate I HAVE tried other things from their menu and they were equally as great, but korma is just my to go (back) to item on the menu, cold outside? Korma! Bad day? Korma! I will definitely try to visit the place (as it's like 10 min walk from me lol) and sit in. So to cut the review short, if you do find yourself in the proximity of this place I would highly recommend you...
