Popped in for all day breakfast and to be honest it looked like it had been cooked and left out all day lol bear in mind it was miday when I purchased this frankinstein creation, the toast was barely toasted yet it was rock hard, the tomato was cold and suffering from some sort of dehydration, and the mushrooms all wrinkled up and dehydrated, the eggs were poached well they speak for themselves lol, the sausages had been deep fat fried and shrivelled up, the bacon has been cooked on a dirty hot plate hence all the black bits on it, beans were hot so we're hash browns, thank you for your reply I would love to pop back and give you a glowing review on what you really can cook. Have a nice day.

A great local-friendly pub with a signature aesthetic on Fishponds Road. The Old Post Office is a really nice place to go for food and drink. I came here for lunch and it was quiet, had plenty of entertainment like TBs playing sport, a pool table, and even darts. The food and drink was all really nice and well cooked. The price was also great and is a much better option when compared to Wetherspoons. The staff here were very friendly and helpful and kept the place looking tidy and organised. I recommend this place for a quiet bite to eat and perhaps to grab a pint among friends. I will definitely be coming here again.

Food 2/5 Iceland food. The peas and rice were defrosted and microwaved. The chicken had equal amounts of chicken and batter. Not enough gravy. Tasted bland. Service 5/5 Got a pint. Pint was good. Atmosphere 2/5 The carpets were sticky, the table had sticky residue from a drying up liquid and the sofas look like they've never been washed. Actually the only liquid the sofas had seen isn't washing liquid, it's beer and cider. Cutlery and serviettes were left in a mini bucket on the table for all of the dust and what not to get on it. Not hygienic... Weatherspoons have higher cleanliness standards.

My girlfriend and I came in for a couple drinks on a fairly quiet Saturday night. My girlfriend ordered a coffee on the app after I had already ordered a bottle of wine off of the app. After a little while, my girlfriend was given her coffee but no sign of the wine. After waiting another 10 minutes or so, I went up to the bar and asked about the wine, showing the girl behind the bar my order confirmation. She checked my order, walked around, checked it again, then asked me what I’d ordered. She asked if I wanted a bucket of ice with it..thought it came with that anyway? This wasn’t all. The website says it’s open until 1am, however at midnight the staff behind the bar were shouting out to the customers that they wanted to go home and to drink up. How is this allowed?! They were shouting at us they wanted to leave and to ‘come on’ even though they were still meant to be open until 1. They offered us plastic cups to finish tiny drops of wine left in our glasses. We couldn’t believe how rude this was and it made us feel very...

I went into this pub yesterday Friday 11th August on the lunchtime and ordered a starter and a main, when the food came the starter and the main came out together, which meant by the time I would have eaten the starter my main would have been stone cold. I clearly asked the member of staff to take the meal back as it should come out after I had eaten the starter and I asked her for the main not to be reheated but to bring back a fresh meal, when the main was brought back after I had eaten the starter, the member of staff brought back the same main meal and it had been reheated despite what I had said to his colleague that I wanted a fresh meal not a reheated meal so again I sent the main meal back and asked for a fresh main meal, eventually a fresh main meal was brought out. This was the first time i had ever eaten in this pub and based on what happened to me yesterday it will be the last time I eat...

Absolutely disgusting service tall man with long ginger beard spoke to me in an extremely rude manor. I was with a friend and I ordered her a glass of water and a coffee for myself and he gave me the glass of water but said that I’d have to wait for my coffee. I disagree with this as there was only 2 other people waiting to be served who agreed that I should be completely served rather than have to wait to be served and then stop being served half way through my order. When I asked him to carry on making me coffee he pointed across the road to a coffee shop and said “if you want a coffe there’s a coffee shop across the road”. I am a local and expect to be spoken to respectfully not in a rude manor. Love the pub and normally get get service but I am very disappointed and will be making a complaint to...
