Hippie Flower Café — Restaurant in Bristol

Disappointing service and food. There was one other customer when I dropped in for brunch. I sat outside for some time, expecting to be served. I even told a waitress I was ready to order. She responded, “lovely!” and did not come back. I finally realised it was order at the counter. I ordered a tea and Eggs Benedict. A nice hot cup of tea was served promptly. But it was cold by the time my meal arrived 15/20 minutes later. The eggs were poached to my liking but the hollandaise topping was completely cold, making the meal unpalatable. The food was great and normally I love this place, but I had three friends visiting me in Bristol and I took them here for lunch. We ordered 3 avocado on toast and one omelette. All the meals took far longer than they should’ve done- and the cafe was not overly busy. One friend had to wait 50 minutes for her avocado on toast, and everything arrived at different times (anytime from around 40 to 50 minutes after breakfast ordering). Incredible little cafe! Stumbled across this place and so glad we popped in. The service first and foremost was fantastic, very friendly and helpful staff. The food was incredible, really good quality meats, everything cooked brilliantly. The coffee was also INCREDIBLE, best coffee I’ve had in a long time.
