The mixed shawarma wrap I ordered was a testament to their culinary prowess, boasting unparalleled tenderness and juiciness. The thickness of the wrap added an extra layer of satisfaction to every bite, making it a perfect choice for enjoying at home.

For those seeking halal options, Horus Charcoal Grill is a commendable choice, offering a diverse array of flavorful dishes. While the prices may appear steep, they are justified given the quality of the food and the current economic conditions.

However, my takeaway experience was marred by a significant issue – the alarming observation of cross-contamination in the kitchen. Witnessing the kitchen staff using the same tongs for both meat and salad raises serious concerns about food safety, particularly for vegetarians. This practice must be addressed promptly to ensure the health and well-being of all patrons.

I would truly love to give Horus Charcoal Grill a five-star rating, I honestly would. However, due to the cross-contamination with the tongs that I witnessed, I...

First of all the food was absolutely amazing, in terms of flavour and quality, I had the kofte meal & Extra Falafel and will be having this again everything was spot on. Unfortunately why let my experience down was I watched the guy make the salad for my kebab they don't put a lot of salad in , just a pinch of each - so I asked if I could get a couple more slices of gherkin, well he looked at me as if I had asked him to throw in an extra skewer of meat free of charge!! To be honest this particular gentleman was very rude and arrogant from the beginning, seemed either over tired or just didn't want my custom.

I will go back as the food was that good, but if he has the same attitude again then maybe it...

Let’s be HONEST for once

Food is NOTHING MORE SPECIAL than you can find anywhere else in a kebab shop that serves charcoal grill

Of they could find a cheaper sauxe brand they WOULD BUY IT !!

Stingy on salads (looks like he is “painting” with them rather than sprinkling them on the food?!

Prices are H JISTIFIABLY HIGH for the STABDARD FOOD they serve !

Wraps size - almost ANYWHERE ELSE SMALL WRAPS WOULD BE BIGGER - they know how to “sell dreams in exchange of hopes…” a “small” wrap looks like a McDonalds £1.99 wrap of the day … bit they charge £7.99 (just because they can, I guess🤔🙈

Overall a pushed-3 stars just because its a cleaner takeaway THAN others...

Usually a big fan of the boneless chicken leg meal but today service was shocking and food was just as bad. Waited 35 minutes to be served cold little bits of chicken with chips and soggy lettuce with the tiniest amount of grated carrot. Usually it’s a delicious full chicken leg, not chicken shawarma! And would normally be served with a proper selection of pickle salad not 90% lettuce with tiniest bit of carrot. If I wasn’t in a rush (thanks to the 35min wait) I would have taken this back which I would never normally. Really disappointed. I’ve always vouched for horus but today i have been let down.

We ordered from Deliveroo. The portions were small and fairly expensive, especially the humous. I had the vegetarian burger, which is one of those old-school carrot and sweetcorn burgers. The burger was literally just the bun and patty, so super dry. Some of the accompaniments were decent enough. The bread was straight-up store-bought affair, with the original packaging. Finally, all of us had stomach aches for over an hour before going to bed, no doubt over this meal. Overall, not a great experience.
