Totally mixed feelings with our visit here. Place was ram packed which was a good sign. It was however very noisy and if you are noise sensitive then be aware if it’s Full. Music is loud which elevates the need to shout to talk. Also the staff like to sing šŸ˜€ The coffee was excellent. One of the best in Bristol I’d say. 3.5 a peice so probably on par with normal Bristol prices. The food however conflicts my brain. We had eggy crumpets with a side of chicken and hash browns. I think it was a bit confused. It’s very unique. Individually things were nice, but together it was a bit much fried stuff. Everything is covered in sauce so the tastes are a bit one dimensional. Is Asian inspired with a sweet chilli type sauce covering everything. The side of fried chicken was nicely spiced and not dry. The hash browns though. Nope. Tasted like Paxo and very dense. Not for me sorry. It was very different. As mentioned I’ve got mixed feelings and that’s normally enough for me not to return as im pretty decisive normally. Try it and decide for yourself.

Called in for Breakfast. Found a really nice menu on offer including pancakes, baked goods and some hot options steering clear of the ā€˜Full English’. We opted for Muffin #2 (Toasted Muffin with avocado, grilled haloumi and fried egg) and Buttermilk Chicken and Maple Cured Bacon on Cheesy Crumpets with Chilli Jam. We were both very impressed with the food delivering well on both flavour and quality. To drink we had Tea and a Flat White Coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker but the coffee smelt amazing enough to try a sip of my wife’s! Looking at the menu it looks as if coffee choices are rotated with flavour profiles being listed alongside information regarding origin and grower. We also took a slice of Millionaires Shortbread away which was also delivered a great hit of sweetness which would complement the flavour of coffee.

I tried the breakfast muffin which proved to be hugely filling and very nicely prepared. The egg was runny, cheese nicely melted and sausage patty crisped. A hash brown on the side was a nice addition. The coffee was a really good choice. From Fuyan Farm in China, it was very smooth and fruity with a sweetness that bordered on tasting like candy. All together, a really nice unusual combination to try, and came hot enough to not feel obliged to gulp it down before it became tepid. Service was extremely friendly and nice throughout making for a very positive experience overall.

Visited on the 1st of October, with 7 of my friends at the start of ordering was great (through the app) after receiving my food I was halfway through my brunch muffin and found a piece of plastic or grease proof paper attached to the sausage patty. I understand this can happen some times but when I went to the server, who looked very unhappy to work there. she didn’t even say anything just walked over to the table and said ā€œYepā€ than took the dish and walked away.

After waiting 15 mins for a new muffin, I politely went to ask for a refund instead as everything had finished eating, I was then told to wait 5 minutes and come back. After waiting 5 minutes because the lady was busy she then stated she was ā€œtoo busy to process the refund, and to leave me name and number on a piece of paper, I would class this a breach of GDPR. For her to process later. Overall very poor service no personality and poor food, shame with such high competition in the area.

At the very least a sorry or any sort of acknowledgment would...
