On a recent visit to Cabot Tower, I was not only impressed by the breathtaking views but also by an unexpected encounter with a squirrel. As I was climbing the tower, I noticed a small squirrel perched precariously on a narrow ledge, seemingly unable to get down. It appeared that the squirrel had been chased up the tower by a badger and was now stranded.

Without hesitation, I came to the squirrel's rescue. I carefully guided it down the tower, coaxing it with gentle words and offering it a piece of my sandwich. Once the squirrel was safely on the ground, it performed a small dance as if to express its gratitude.

This heartwarming experience added to the overall charm of my visit to Cabot Tower. The tower is not only a historic landmark but also a haven for wildlife. If you're looking for a place to enjoy stunning views and encounter some friendly furry creatures, Cabot Tower is definitely worth a visit.
