Parsons Bakery — Restaurant in Bristol

If I could put 10 stars I would! To cut a very long story short, we ordered via Deliveroo and the driver bought the wrong order, he refused to take the order back or pick up the correct one. We phoned the store and they explained that we would have get a refund from Deliverio and reorder. Toni, my disabled friend who made the order explained that she is housebound so could go to the store to pick up the order and that she would try to get a refund but she wasn't sure how. A few minutes later, Gemma, the store manager told us that she would bring it to Tonis house as it wasn't that far away. An absolutely amazing bakery. The products are fantastic, but what really makes this place stand out is the staff. I have lived in the area all my life and have got to know many people. People from all walks of life will go in and spend there money just to see the ladies that work there. Over the last couple of years especially, it has become literally a lifeline for some people. The ladies genuinely care about everyone who goes through the door,and will do anything they can to make,and they often do, customers days. A brilliant little bakers on the corner of the Wells Road and Redatch Road. They sell all sorts of bread, cakes etc, they also offer a sandwich and tea/coffee service throughout the day. It's kept scrupulously clean and the staff are really friendly. Just like an old-fashioned, proper bakery! Worth grabbing some doughnuts and coffee if you're peckish or go for some of their wonderful cakes or bread pudding.
