smokebox — Restaurant in Bristol

Smokebox is such a hidden gem and my new favourite spot to meet with friends. The atmosphere is amazing and all the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. They have consistently made us feel so comfortable and accommodated our needs every time we have been in (which has been quite a few times now!) The drinks are all lovely and very reasonably priced! The food is absolutely delicious, extremely generous portions and clearly made with a lot of care. I really cannot rate this place highly enough and recommend it to anyone...

I went with a small group on Thursday 11th Sept. This was their first Thursday serving food. We arrived at about 7.40pm and sadly they had ran out of 2 items we wanted to try but were very honest saying they played it safe and prepared food for 40 heads. They will ramp this up based on demand.

I hope these guys do well and that Smokebox has a long future.

We stopped for weekend lunch shortly after opening, after following the amazing smell of the smoked meat! The staff we super friendly and helpful picking options. There were plenty of beer options, including cask ales, which was great to see. We ordered a sharing plate, but as we were so early, we missed out on the ribs. Luckily the team added extra of everything else to make up for it. The halloumi in honey and wings were the highlight for me, but it was all cooked to perfection. Can highly recommend for food when...
