I'm afraid to say on this occasion I was not impressed, while the food was tasty the portion sizes were tiny, for £14 I expected to feel quite satisfied by the portion but it felt like more of a lunch time snack.
In addition the wait for food was far far too long. I attended with two friends and the restaurant apologised to us that they were very busy (yet still managed to serve customers who arrived well after us!) They also seemed to be prioritising deliveroo orders at the expense of customers in the actual restaurant...
In addition, when we asked for the bill and expected to pay by card they informed us they only accept cash or bank transfer. I've never made a bank transfer to a restaurant before and in this day and age it seems very archaic trying to add a new payee on a mobile banking app. Card terminals are pretty cheap these days and only have a slight fee if you shop around so I would recommend the restaurant purchases one.
If the wait times improve, portion sizes increase and a card terminal is purchased it could be a very nice restaurant as the food was...
Read morehello seoul and gaja! i had quite the experience here. i could bring my own wine (which was fantastic as i hoped to get my wife very drunk), and the staff helped me kindly by supplying glasses. (little do they know it wasn’t just wine i brought - haha)
my food was exquisite, though i was disappointed by the price of kimchi - FOUR BLOOMING POUNDS! now i would hope that as a korean establishment there is an endless supply of kimchi, so was outraged at this discovery, though indulged anyway.
noodles were great, distinct taste of wok. i also have a cat called noodle - what a coincidence! though i’m relieved to inform you my cat was not on my plate, but a lovely plate of bouncy bountiful noodles.
fantastic. see you...
Read moreIt’s my first time to give one star. My first time to try this restaurant but the waiting time for food was unusual long. Seems they need to prioritise the take away orders first. Overall, the food was not worth of money. The powder for fried chicken was too thick but luckily, the sauce was still ok. It’s not the typical Korean restaurant. They will not serve you any appetizers like Kimchi, beans sprouts. Besides, they only accepted cash payment without official receipt(just wrote the amount on the paper). Not sure that it violated the law in U.K. since I was a tourist. We ordered four dishes and paid £66 for 2 persons. The portion of food was less than normal especially the meat. Not...
