Not great. We visited here for a quick meal on our way back from South Wales (hear good things about this place). However we had to wait nearly two hours for our food, which consisted mainly of Pizzas, nachos and chips. Unfortunately we were not told there would be any delays to our food and we did not expect this as the place was not very busy with other people eating (maybe thats why!!). As the food began to trickle out of the kitchen we noticed the quality wasn't not what we were expecting, with one of the Pizzas burnt and another containing plastic( a full refund was given and complementary drink). The currywurst topped fries (pictured) did not appear to taste of currywurst at all. In the end we had to leave as we still had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. We had to cancel one loaded fries, which we received a full refund for and one of the Pizzas had to be boxed up for the journey. On a positive note, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. All in all a pretty poor experience unfortunately. I don't doubt this would be a good place to share a few drink at with friends, as it seems to have a good atmosphere. However, don't expect great things if you are ordering food.

This place was a Plan B for a Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint. There was a wait but all staff were friendly and the roast definitely in the better half I've tried. The pork belly was proper melt in the mouth stuff, the cauliflower cheese nice and creamy, the carrots/parsnips seasoned/glazed well, the gravy delicious. If I were to pick holes, the Yorkshire pud could've been a little doughier and perhaps the cabbage/leek could've had a bit more zhuzh, but that's just me, having tried many a roast in Brizzle. Pleasant ambiance for a Sunday and having a cheeky gander at the general menu, there's enough here to tempt us back in future.

Blue Lagoon very special place to me for lot of reason. Staff are excellent they provide great service with smile. Food is really good. They do nice cocktail and they serve all kind of drink. Omnisphere amazing. Inside Blue Lagoon and outside... most of the evening they have live music.. I cannot imagine Bristol especially Gloucester Road how will be look like without Blue Lagoon.. highly recommend great Experian.. be there you will agree with me. Thank you for all hard work team Blue Lagoon. Providing excellent service to Bristol and all the visitor.xx

got a taxi here on the weekend after not being out for a while, this use-to be one of my locals, i even sometimes get food here & i always spoke high of the place but both my last visits came with disappointment, hostility & has made me not want to go back ever & both times this has been due to the bad attitude of the door staff. so i wont be returning & i am now encourage to start the night in a different venue from this point onwards. I had a right jobs worth of a security guard on the door friday night. the big fella clearly had roid rage & came across very unprofessional & rude out of nowhere. it was uncalled for & i had turned up completely sober. he wanted a confrontation & was trying to get a reaction out of me. i done the rite thing by walking off & going to a next place instead of letting the fool who couldn't get in the police force so ended up on the doors get under my skin & cause a scene. moved up to v-shed & a few other places on the waterfront with kindness from all the other door men in all the other clubs so thats where il be spending my money from this point on. that big fella on the door needs suspending before another incident happens via door staff & customers & this venue. as the way he goes on its another new years...

Chef needs sacking. The staff openly admitted how bad he was after serving me 73 pounds worth of dog food on a plate. Nice one guys...

Free drinks? It's funny that cos yesterday not only did you guys overcharge me for the drinks I'd bought in the first place; when I asked for a refund on the meal you didn't even knock the drinks off that we left behind when we left to try find some actual food. The time before that I came in was the same, the food was awful, we had uncooked "Tripple cooked chips", I sent them back and the "chef" refried the same stuff that was on the plate so it ended up just being burnt and uncooked in the middle haha! I'm not rich and I don't appreciate places like that ripping me off. You've got a nice bar and some really great staff, why don't you bother yourself to get an actual chef again instead of some idiot and have the place how it should be. Yesterday was the third time in a month we've walked out of there feeling hungry and pi*ed off, three times I've told my mates about how banging the food is and left the places feeling like...
