Get meals delivered at least monthly, spend around £40-£50 and food lasts me for 3 to 4 days' worth of meals. Excellent food, fast delivery, good-sized portion, and great tasting. I usually order breakfast pictured, omlette with salad and chips, Veggie combo, apple pie and custard, and Kinder Biscoff waffles with cream. My cream was missing on yesterdays order, but I had tin in fridge, so no stars lost! As I'm on my own, I choose delivery rather than go to the cafe and eat in taking up table.

The owner of this cafe has recently rented the kebab shop at 43 East Street. Starting Friday 15/9/23 until today Tuesday 19/9/23 he has been flytipping waste including rotting meat in the car park where Iceland used to be. He has been very rude to residents including swearing at us and threatening to get us kicked out of our flats when we complained about the flytipping and told him to clear up his rubbish.

Food was ok. I had poached eggs on toast, my boyfriend had fried eggs on toast. Eggs were perfect, toast was cheap, white bread with nasty tasting butter/spread. Coffee not nice either.

Loves this place.

Been going for a few years now, and every time were in bemi, we make a beeline.

Super friendly team of people, and the food is fantastic value, and doesn't taste like cheap rubbish.

The food (all food) is freshly cooked for you, so although there is a little wait, it's not ping-ping food!

Meals are roughly £5 - £7 for main dishes.

Breakfast is between £4.50 and up to £6.50 depending on choices. They all include a tea or coffee, plus toast/bread/fried bread.

So basic... Fried egg, beans, sausage, bacon, toast (or choice), and a drink for £4.50 and it's freshly cooked for you. Now that's value.

A really nice mug of tea too. They leave the bag in, and will add more milk if you like it weaker.... We love a strong brew, and it was!

Highly recommended and will definitely be going back for more (this was our second visit (original review)).... Now been going years.

Nice friendly staff, and a really clean cafe. Can get busy at lunchtime (12:00 - 14:00).

UPDATE AUGUST 2022 just been again today, and had a wonderful chilli and chips.

The prices have gone up, but where hasn't done this? Yet this is still good value when compared to a burger meal.

A few different staff members, but still the nice friendly place we've always loved.

Still...

Ordered food in the morning and got it delivered. Food was absolutely awful. Everything tasted old or like it had been left in tubs for days/just reheated - definitely not fresh. Its like they had just used old food from the day before that wasn't even stored properly. Scampi was soggy, carrots tasted like dish water, potatoes were off, the ice cream was forgotten and pancakes with the wrong sauce. Could go on. No one ate their food at all as it genuinely tasted like it could give you food poisening and I was refused a refund of any kind or even an apology. I never usually complain but I am truly disgusted with this order which cost £40 and wasn't even edible. Simply awful,...

This is the only regular place I keep coming back to in South Bristol. Food choices are excellent, especially the breakfast menu which has the most varieties of an English breakfast I've ever seen as well as many others. You can get also get things like freshly squeezed orange juice.

Staff are consistently lovely, you don't have to wait long for anything as well. Ideal combination of giving you space but being there when you need them.

People in here never seem to get too noisy with chats too, nice ambient levels. All in all it's a great experience for really reasonable...
