Intimidating from the outside, incredible on the inside.

After a few pre-visit pints, my girlfriend and I had the courage to pop in for what was going to be just a pint.

Before we even had chance to order our drinks, we were invited to sit with some locals on the "head table".

We ended up spending a couple of hours, drinking cider and having a great laugh with the land ladies and locals.

It is a small very old-school traditional pub. Crowd in this place was friendly bunch who come here often enough to know everyone else and be interested in newcomers. There is a jukebox machine on the wall with huge variety of songs to pick from (for free). Standard choice of drinks for a good price. Plus some board games to...
