Food Amazing (but burnt yorkshire pudding) but waiting an hour and a half for the food is a joke.... staff weren’t very helpful! Not friendly to us at all until they gave us the food which we were then offered a free drink but we already had two pints of orange juice and a full glass when he asked. No one wants to wait that long in a cold pub while everyones got their food before them. One of the bar staff tried to claim a table was there before us, but it was empty when we walked in! To top it off we missed our cinema screening. Was recommended by a friend who lives close by, and they got there’s in half hour! Very very unimpressed with the ‘pudding’... it was a choice of a twix, mince pie or a club bar...😂 I would of liked to return for the food but I cant be...

Went here for Sunday roast and it was pretty amazing. There were so many exciting sides including a cauliflower cheese croquette, a croquette of stuffing, goat cheese vegetables, the best kale ever.

I was sad at first the beef was sold out but then I got the Parmesan crusted chicken and I’m soooo glad I did.

I also loved all of the sauces: apple, gravy, cranberry, horseradish- just delish.

We also got offered chocolate bars at the end and I have my first Caramel from tunnock and it’s my new favourite. Thank you!

Brilliant pop culture decor with an old woody local pub feel. Staff are all top people, and the landlord is as good as they get. Pub quiz is hosted by the best in Bristol - funny with challenging but interesting questions. Great game selection from top trumps to board games. Always happy to suggest new beers that...
