So... Pop up food in a sports bar!

The chef here certainly knows how to season his food, whether it's the battered Sea Bass Goujons in a Burger with unique 31 fish sauce or the macaroni cheese filled croquets... The Hand made burger patties are without a doubt some of the best I've ever had...

The menu is simple and varied, absolutely unique and all prepared / cooked fresh by the one man (tate@ 31 food blog) , I can see big things for this guy.

I'm always put off by cheap (ish) priced food but I've been proved that going on price alone isn't recommended at all, everything I've ordered over the past few days has been outstanding.

Craig the landlord of the bar is one welcoming bloke and has made me feel right at home whilst working away in Bristol, I wish I could take this bar a home with me. Jonathan one of the most friendliest and attentive bar men I've encountered over the years just tops this place off.

Also drinks are at a very reasonable price, everything here is on top form, always a good atmosphere and never a spot of trouble,...

A grungy student pub with poor lighting and black interior paintwork. A trip to the ladies toilet involves several accidents waiting to happen. Take a torch! The Room Above comedy was hosted by Harry Allmark, an annoying man who shouted into the mike all night and had nothing funny to say. He couldn't enunciate the names of the comedians so God know who they were. The line up was quite diverse: an ex-homeless man who has potential as a comic if he slows his speech down, a funny Australian woman with a 3 week old baby and a 5 yr old psychopathic step daughter, a Jewish trans woman with all the usual trans jokes and Luke Honnoraty a reliably...

Great day in there yesterday with genial host Craig. It would get five stars if it had a ground floor loo as I am an elderly person unsteady on my pins especially after a few pints of Craig's cider. Went in again yesterday 3rd March and found out that they do have a ground floor loo that old fogies like myself can use so I am upgrading from 4 stars to 5. Had a great day as usual in a PROPER PUB. Only one de-merit the pub dog sneaked my hat away and was caught eating it by the lady behind the bar. WELL...
