I was looking forward to coming here with my family. Unfortunately however our experience was not great.
The waitress spilled half of a tray of drinks over us, leaving my sister and nephew completely soaked. My baby nephew was extremely upset and required a full outfit change. I appreciate that these things can happen, however we only received a very basic apology and did not get money off the bill or a more substantial apology. We actually had to request the spilled drinks were remade and I fear if we didn’t, they would not have been!
Whilst all this was happening, they brought out our food and had to leave it on another table whilst ours was being cleaned. There was only one server at a time cleaning the table and I feel due to the incident, we should have been made a priority. It took several minutes to be cleaned and meanwhile our food had gone cold. I am a vegetarian and ordered the vegetarian souvlaki which I thought was quite good. However, the other members of my party both got meat dishes which they complained were too salty and overcooked. Sadly the crisps on top had gone soggy which I think could be due to the amount of time the food was left sitting.
Disappointing to leave a bad review on a local business, however the experience was extremely...

This Greek restaurant is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had – a true hidden gem in the heart of Worcester! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel like family.
The food? Like it was made by my own grandmother – authentic, comforting, and packed with flavour. Every dish carried that homemade magic that’s impossible to replicate unless it’s made with love… and they’ve got that in spades. You could taste the passion in every bite.
The atmosphere was equally special – cosy, vibrant, and full of heart. It’s the kind of place that hugs you with its charm and makes you want to stay for hours.
What really sets this place apart though is the service. The owners and staff are meticulous in everything they do – from presentation to attentiveness – and it's clear that they take immense pride in what they offer. You simply don’t get this level of care or authenticity at any big-chain restaurant.
Whether you're Greek, grew up around Greek food, or just love great cuisine – this place will blow you away. It’s a soulful experience you won’t forget, and we can’t wait...
Read moreWe saw that a few friends had shared The Sweet Greeks on social media and as huge fans of Greek food and we knew we had to try it, I'm so glad we finally visited. From the warm welcome to the food everything was absolutely outstanding and we will definitely be coming back.
We stopped off for a spot of lunch with the full intentions of sampling as much as we could. We both opted for the current Gyros special which was out of this world. It consisted of a Flatbread, Chicken Gyros, Tzatziki, Greek Salad and Oregano and Paprika potato slices; it was genuinely as good as anything we ate in Athens.
Combining the special with a few sides, we chose 2 Greek Sausages, deep fried Brie with onion chutney, and the most incredible spicy Feta dip with pitta breads and a couple of Mythos to wash it down. This place is a true credit to Worcester and we hope to get onto one of their Greek...
