Maybe I am biased as it is run by my daughter - I had the pleasure of helping her out today - lovely regular customers, new faces and kind comments - we serve homemade lemon cake and homemade fruit cake, along with the likes of jacket potatoes, toasties, sandwiches and paninis. Worth a visit if you want to get away from the High Street and have a mooch around the Aladdin's cave once you come through...

A lovely traditional tea rooms, tea served in china cups and saucers by very friendly staff. Range of hot and cold snacks available too, all very reasonably priced and beautifully presented. There is also a deceptively large area selling all sorts of items of home decor, from small furniture items and ornaments to room fragrances and clothing...

Found this Tea Room/café very recently and I have to say it is excellent. The Ploughman's was full of flavour and extremely good value for money . The owner and staff are very welcoming and the venue spotlessly clean. Definitely highly...
