The Mexi Co. — Restaurant in Bromsgrove

Straightforward ordering system - I understand from other reviews, ordering via Just Eat has been problematic - we ordered direct from The Mexi Co. Site - this has both a nice aesthetic and a straightforward process with every conceivable option.

The options on offer, on the surface could be lacking however, in reality a few base dishes done well with a raft of customisation proved to be plenty enough selection.

We opted for beef taco and chicken burrito.

The beef taco was on point with one slight complaint of it being not quite as hot as it could be (bear in mind this was delivered and we are nearly out of the catchment area)

The chicken burrito was absolutely on point with no complaints and a very generous portion.

Along with this we opted for the homemade slaw and dirty fries - both spot on as with everything else.

To top off this veritable feast we opted for the ultimate doughnuts experience - it was very good.

Chocolate sauce is numero Uno - well worth it- the toffee sauce good, the white chocolate sauce not as good.

All in great takeaway highly...

I’m shocked at all the good reviews because my experience with his place is honestly really disappointing. Burritos are my favourite takeaway and after el Mexicana (which I thought was really average) closed I was so excited to hear a new burrito place was coming to town - and I was even more excited given their fantastic reviews. But I’ve had their burritos 4 times now (each time convincing myself to give them another chance) and each time food was simply super bland and really poor quality. Chicken tasted old and dry, the wrap wasn’t nice and soft as it should be (again felt as if the packaging was left open for a couple days and the wraps had gone dry), and the filling was just painfully tasteless. Customer service wasn’t great either. Definitely won’t be going there again...

The Mexi Co in Bromsgrove is a hidden gem! It's not easy to see, but once you know it's there you'll keep going back! If anyone knows where Paul Mattys (Lotus Deal) use to be, it's there on the corner. We live locally and didn't spot it at first - it's set up as a street food stall on the front, but a bit hidden behind some bushes.

The food is beautiful and actually taste nicer than Mexican restaurants. The pulled pork is so tasty and so is the chicken. It taste like everything is made from scratch (including Salsa and sauces) as everything taste really fresh and yummy.

It really is worth a try....you definitely wont be disappointed. Great vegetarian options too and really good value for money. Generous portions -...
