Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Broxbourne

Good points: Great variety of deals available. Food has great flavour, is cooked to a good standard and portion size is decent. It is very easy to create/amend pizzas to your own personal liking. I’m a big fan of half and half pizza when I can’t decide what toppings I want.

Bad points: Delivery - I ordered direct with my local hut but the delivery driver struggled to find my address and almost delivered my order to a completely different street/road. I had two calls with the delivery driver and had to provide directions to deliver to my address in town which is metres from the takeaway shop.

Quality - I added chicken to my meat feast pizza and was disappointed to see the chicken wasn’t much larger than the seasoned minced beef included on my pizza, usually the chicken looks like chunks. Perhaps the shops supplier has recently changed? Perhaps we got the bottom of the bag, something we’ll never know for definite.

I also selected ‘handcrafted with garlic’ crusts to both of my pizza’s which I paid an uplift for and yet there was very little/almost non existent garlic sprinkle. Not worth an uplift fee and overall pretty disappointing. Stuffed crust...

The food was inedible and cold, the staff on duty at the time waved their hands at me rudely to signal for me to leave as I tried to mention my food was cold. The sauce tasted like kebab shop pizza sauce and not like the normal tomato sauce. The cheese smelled off and gross. Everyone tried a slice and immediately decided to throw it away. I then told customer service and their response was not good enough. I want my money back. Also the staff who were on at the time weren’t wearing gloves and were rubbing their noses then touching the food. Dirty and disgusting. I had heartburn from the little I tried to eat and it made me sick. Seeing as it was all I ate that day I’m quite sure it was from the dirty and disgusting food.

I will also be contacting the local environmental health...

I AM SO SHOCKED AT THE SERVICE PROVIDED AT THIS PARTICULAR PIZZA HUT BRANCH!! I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS BUT THIS WAS REALLY BAD!! I ordered the Mac & Cheese from here for my toddler and Thank God I tasted it first!! It tasted of METAL and expired cheese!!!! I immediately phoned the branch asking for a manager and the guy over the phone pretended her couldn't hear me. Funny I called back and its been saying call busy for over an 1 hour!! This branch should be SHUT DOWN!! really disappointing the great services of Pizza hut!!...
