Went here with my family the other day and we ordered a cookie dough. The cookie dough was cold and wasn’t cooked enough. We sent it back and asked for another one from the waitress who was reluctant to do so. Didn’t think much of this. Went again yesterday and the same thing happened with the cookie dough being undercooked and when we asked for it to be re-done the waitress pulled a face and rudely yanked the plate away. I ordered a waffle and the waffle was cold with hardly any toppings on so I had to order the toppings again separately. Cookie dough came back undercooked and cold again. We didn’t want to cause a fuss so just stayed quiet despite not even eating it. When the time came to pay, we politely mentioned to the “Manager” that the service wasn’t up to scratch today and that our dessert wasn’t the best either. She snapped back saying “you should have sent it back then” and when we mentioned we already did send it back once she screamed at us saying “don’t come back here then. Simples. You guys are the only people that complain about our food”. We were absolutely astounded by her cheek and I was holding myself back from showing her a thing or two. But unlike this woman, I’m civilised and I respect other people. This woman may have been the “franchise owners” sister but this gives her no entitlement or right so speak to us in such an ill-mannered and unprofessional way. She showed absolutely no remorse, and no apology was given either. Regardless of her bad attitude, we still paid in the end out of the goodness of our own hearts. This woman has 0 people skills and a business acumen of 0 too. Clearly this woman cannot take any criticism and should be fired from her role as there was no pleasantness about her. No smile, no, warm welcome. Nothing. Where do you get these people? Off the street? This woman has single handedly ruined the fine dining aspect of “heavenly desserts” and we will definitely not be coming back here. From reading the other reviews, looks like we’re not the only ones who’ve experienced bad customer service and undercooked food. The other waiters and waitresses were also children who didn’t have a scooby do about customer service. Public toilets probably have better customer service...
Read moreI have had to edit my review after the worst customer experience of my life.
Me and my family (8 customers in total) ordered our desserts and drinks.
When the waiter arrived at our table, the coffee on the table accidentally fell, and dropped all over myself and my 7 year old daughter; who got totally wet through, and traumatised and was in shock and crying. So I quickly tried to move her to another table.
No staff came to check, or ask if they could help... I then had to ask if I can get a replacement coffee. The waiter said don't worry, this one will not be on the bill. (As I expected in any coffee shop)
When the bill arrived I had been charged for 2 coffees. So, I went to question the bill, and a lady called Sana very rudely interrupted me, as I questioned my bill, and embarrassed me saying the drink fell because of me, so I have to pay double? I said the waiter said it would not be charged. She said firstly, I will confirm this with the waiter, and before I was given the chance to reply ( as I was not willing to be further humiliated and I was ready to pay the extra £5) she then embarrassed the poor waiter in front of me, and the whole shop and said to him, you are under no authority to say such things, and now you will have to pay for the drink out of your own salary.
She said to me, now it's been confirmed, the waiter said it would not be charged ( and that im not a liar) I will take the coffee off the bill???
She said, if he said it would not be charged, and the waiter confirmed he did say that, she humiliated him, and took off the £5. I said to her keep the £5. I've never seen such service in all my life.
If only I could leave minus review for the rudeness...
Read moreI would just like to share my experience at your Burnley branch from a few days ago. I went up to the counter today to ask the lady there about the cornflake-tart which I was about to order. Just a few normal questions about when it was made, and if it was made in-house, and during that exchange she’d questioned if I had ADHD. I found that to be terribly rude, insulting and made me feel quite uncomfortable.
Seeing as it was a lady, out of sheer politeness on my side, I chose to return to my table and not enter into an argument about the encounter.
I was quite shocked by Faiza’s brazen attitude and to then later find out that she’s the manager or one of the managers of your branch just put me off my visit completely.
However, the experience was turned around by the service, attention and care that was given to me and my family by Danielle, whom I may suggest would definitely be a better candidate for a managerial position as she was able to provide a very professional service and seemed very happy to be doing her job; an asset to your...
