Icaro Lounge — Restaurant in Burnley

The place from inside is well decorated Yesterday afternoon 2pm there , it was 2 members of staff I really wanted to have coffee Exepr espresso, I asked the lady may I have one but please can you put one sugar in the cup before you pour the coffee because I like the sugar to dissolve by the hot coffee and I would like it double, she said no problem and changed me 2.65 paid by my card. I sat outdoor, after 10 minutes the coffee came to by the other member of staff , he put it down then I started to drink straight away the coffee smells beautifully but it wasn’t double as I ordered it , it wasn’t worm , it was no sugar as she agreed with me. I took the coffee back to the lady I said you didn’t put sugar as we agreed to gather, she replied the sugar is over there I am here to pour coffee the in the cup only. I said if you told me this before I could get the sugar myself or don’t purchased it. She totally ignored me and carried on what she is doing, I asked where is the manager she said I am the manager. I loved this place! I always thought that it was a little coffee shop (I was really wrong don't judge a book by it's cover 🤣). The service is amazing and quick, I'm not sure which lady served us today but she was so nice. I loved how quiet it was, and I loved the bar that was there too! You also get free water which made me especially happy. The food and drinks came as they were made, and I had the option to order my dessert separately (I forgot to take a photo of my brownie and ice cream, I was too fast lol). Anyway, it is really great value for food, honestly it kept me full for the whole day! I LOVED the smoked bacon too.

Overall it is a really nice place, I'd really recommend trying it out, they have many drinks from coffees to soft drinks to wines and other alcoholic drinks. And foods from brunch foods like a full breakfast to pancakes.

Lovely place that has an old school vibe to it. Influenced by a few different places around the world foodwise. Seems like it's aimed more towards veggie and vegan options which is fine as there are plenty of meat options available. I went for the chicken kiev burger which was fantastic!! My partner wanted the steak but it was the only thing they didn't have, shame really as he settled for a chicken flatbread with triple cheese fries which was good but not what he wanted and the chips only had 1 type of cheese which was slightly disappointing for him. They have a brilliant drinks menu and the cocktails were lush. Went for the cherry bakewell, it was fantastic. Also the craft beer was tasty. Brill atmosphere and the staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back to try some more of the menu. Different to all the other restaurants in Burnley which...
