We mean a independently run cafe that does tasty comfort food well, quickly, with a smile and always within a relaxed atmosphere. This cafe is the perfect example of a good old English greasey spoon. The lady at the pans was quick, kind and on the ball. The Gentlment on the drinks was charming and efficient. If you're a lover, like I am, of a tradition English cafe, a quentisential "greasy spoon" , then this is the one to visit when you're in Bury. Bury itself is quite a nice town, and I'd recommend half a day there if you're in the area. A whole day if you ride the old railway, which is worth it! Start or take lunch at this cafe...
