RIP OFF PLACE!! INCOMPITENT PERSONAL
Went there the day before and had mint shakes. So we went back the next day and asked for LARGE mint shakes. The young Service boy said they do not have mint ice cream and never have had. We told him we did have mint shake the day before but it was okay we just choose another flavour. He went then to another work Member (young long hair blond girl) how he should type in a LARGE shake. She came and showed him how to type into the cashier a LARGE Shake. She turned to us and said, she would HAVE TO CHARGE THE MILK EXTRA AND THE ICE-CREAM EXTRA FOR A SHAKE!!! Never heard that before cause a shake is made with milk and Icecream! She said this is normal there. Ok, but very strange. We agreed and paid the 9.00£ for LARGE SHAKE. The day before it was 5.80£ for a normal size shake. Then we got the "LARGE" shake, but it was the same size as the normal shake for 5.80£ the day before. I was telling the blond girl, that this is not a large shake, it is the same size as the normal shake the day before. SHE THEN SAID WE ONLY HAVE ONE SIZE OF CUPS AND DO NOT DO LARGE SHAKES! Excuse me, I ordered and paid 9£ for LARGE shake???? And she took the large shake order!!!!! Oh well, she said, then I was charged wrong the day before and paid the correct price today. Say what??? Discussion and explanation did not come to any result as she refused to explain the almost double price against the day before. Friendly? No. Customer service? Rip off. And then all 3 girls started talking in welsh so we could not understand a word. Rude and being ripped off we left this place extremely frustrated and disappointed. To bad the owner was not around. I would fire these incompetent ripping people off service girls. Dear owner, is this normal there? Never ever coming back to this rip off place.
Watch where you go and spent your money if you do not want to be pulled over the table.

Read moreWhat a dump, walked in, we asked were the seating was and told upstairs overlooking the caste or downstairs, l asked which was the most popular with a reply upstairs is lighter downstairs more cosy, we chose upstairs which was like sitting in an old classroom (a neglected classroom) from the filthy floor to the filthy table's, bleak is an understatement, with covid going on most places were closed, so we stayed and persevered, l did take a look at the seating downstairs, thinking it might be a little better, it was awful, dark dingy and almost bordering on frightening, needless to say we chose to stay upstairs. The breakfasts came and matched the environment we were in, l only cut into the sausage couldn't face to try it, pale and grey, the toast was the thinest white tasteless possible, bacon poor, hash brown greasy, the only OK on this plate of dissapiontment were the baked beans albeit just fair with lots of grease surrounding them, l left half of my breakfast my partner the same, coffee so so. All in all avoid this place at any cost, the whole experience left a very bad taste with us all day, we couldn't leave quick enough £22 down the drain. Dreadful...
Read moreOrdered the ham eggs and chips and the vegan salad bowl. When the salad arrived they had made the goats cheese salad in an error they admitted to. Told I would get the correct order 'in a couple of minutes'. In the meantime my husband proceeded to eat this meal. 10 minutes after he finished I was still waiting - how hard could it be to make a salad - surely all the ingredients were ready? Despite being promised twice 'its on its way' it wasn't. After a 20 minute wait I went inside to ask for a refund - which I was given by the young man on the till who apologised profusely (even though it wasn't his fault!). Whilst I was inside the cafe getting the refund the salad was delivered to our outside table, however, before I returned to the table it was taken away with my husband being told 'the order has been cancelled'. Considering the long wait after the staff error perhaps the correct thing to do would have been to offer box it up as a takeaway but the staff, apart from the young man on the till, didn't really seem too bothered about the...
