on arrival we was greeted warmly by the bar maid who gave us the key to our room but this is where the problems started our room had not been cleaned. ||After a long drive I jumped into the “Power Shower” that was no more than a luke warm watering. ||The hotel was advertised as 12am closing for the bar but music was still pumping extremely loud until 2am. ||A fight started in the bar and fell out into the street with shouting and swearing going on for least an hour without any signs of the local Hedlu being called. ||Finally when the ruckus has stopped and we started to get some sleep, a drunken guest tried to enter our room using his key and banging on our door. Read moreVisited the pub last night for food. The Staff were friendly and attentive. Plenty of choice for seating areas (both inside and out) pub is dog friendly. Pub is clean throughout although some areas are looking a little tired. Menu has limited choice but is reasonably priced and has plentiful portion sizes. My partner had the beef lasagne with garlic bread massive portion- enough to take home for the following day. Would have been nice to have a side salad included with this meal. Overall experience was good will be...
