It opens at 6.30pm, I arrived at 6.25pm. Place had closed sign on door and in darkness. Tried door, then a man opened it. He said have you booked?, I replied yes,he said we aren't open yet, then said come in. Highly unprofessional and unreal greeting to a customer. Walked in and no life at all inside, this is minutes till place is open. A waitress gave us a table, so let's hope a good meal ahead. Bill came to £60. House wine was rubbish, only had a carafe at £12.50, couldn't face any more. I will never forget this poor meal. You go judge for yourselves, others may think differently. The olives were tasty. The two girls serving did a good job carrying plates up and down awful flight of stairs.

The Ouzo and Olive welcomes you into a warm atmosphere with a great Greek aesthetic. The service is good and friendly. The food doesn't take long and is excellent, everything tastes fresh, for example Kalamari which is easy to get wrong is perfectly done. Even the bread is fresh and given lots of hearty olive oil. Prices are good and fair, we paid £47 for 5 dishes, 2 drinks (the pims comes with style) and 2 desserts. The desserts were really special. A true gem in our little town of Caernarfon, would recommend. But please make sure you book a table beforehand especially on Saturdays and Fridays.

Food was excellent but our waitress was rude. When asking if the rosé wine was dry or not she said 'how would I know, I'm not allowed to drink whilst working' and we got the same response when we asked if we'd ordered enough dishes for six people or not. I've never been to a restaurant where the waiting staff weren't willing to answer pretty simple questions about what we were ordering, or at least willing to try to help us! Very bizarre but at least the food was tasty, especially the cold mezze platter.

We decided to go in because we see the menu at the door and looked affordable dishes and original. The place was a bit dark, the tables has paper tablecloth. We ordered 5 dishes and Retsina wine. We was surprised when dishes arrived. Hummus was a small bowl with nothin to dip it. Looked nice but not much tasty. Halloumi dish advertised as Greek cheese on a bed of wild was not bed at all. Only three leaves of lamb lettuce, and 8 small fingers of halloumi. A dish that supposed to be beef meet with caramelized onion on wine was a tiny 3 pieces of beef with a few pieces of onion with no flavor at all. Definitely the worst of all. It cost 7£ and it would be better to went McDonalds and buy a burger. We ordered pitta bread and no taste at all. No flavor, was quite dried, and definitely not fresh baked. In 1 minute was hard as a stone. Feta cheese covered with filo pastry was the best. But does not save the dinner. We paid 36£ and when we go out we was still hungry. I would like to inform that me and my wife does not eat much specially at dinner time. Obviously, we will not return and will not recommend the restaurant. We travel often and visit a lot of restaurants and this is a...

Went for a family meal for 5 and was encouraged to have the £15 a head set menu, it read well so went along with it, and 4 bottles of Greek beer at £3.50 half a pint!! And one small house red with a glass and a half. The other member of our group was vegan so ordered an additional portion of falafel and vine leaves. The service was very prompt and courteous and the ambience was typically Greek which was nice, but the food was very poor, very cheap ingredients not particularly well cooked with little flavour some of which were very grisly or as with the chicken slimy the actual amount of food really was not value for money, even if it had been cooked with more consideration. Came away with an £89 bill for just over an hour. Very disappointed 😔 and wasted food that had it of been of a higher standard would not...

We went there last night with friends. My husband's Greek and we were wary of how the food would be, especially as we were the only table, apart from one. Let me tell you the food was magnificent! We went for the mixed mezes. They were brought out in rounds, enough time between each round to enjoy the dishes in front of us. Although the dishes may have seems small individually , the variety was amazing, each dish authentic. Special mention to the tzatziki which was just the right amount of garlic, the Soutsoukakia which were perfectly seasoned and the most amazing Stifado. The beef was so tender and the caramelized onions were so sweet. We would 100% recommend Ouzo and Olive to anyone looking for quality food in the Caernarfon area. Diolch!...
