Dixy Chicken — Restaurant in Calderdale

Staff were unusual. Young guy on till. Told him I wanted a burger but he basically put me off it by saying it would take too long... and put the next customer off too.. So clearly couldn't be bothered to do them. I asked for a drink three times before he finally gave me it. I asked for no mayo but obviously when I got the chicken burger, it had mayo on.. Another woman was annoyed because theirs was taking so long, then they forgot parts of the order and they needed a bag to put it all in but it took two times asking him for him to actually provide one. The manager was in the back with a big parka coat on too.. Chicken bones on the floor. Wasn't busy so no excuse not to keep it clean. Chips were like reheated ones....

I came here a few years ago and then again this weekend.

The service compared to my previous visit was much improved. Good was really tasty, came out in good time and price was good as well.

If you are staying over in Halifax and want to grab a bite to take back to your hotel this is a good place to get it.

Absolutely ridiculous ordered food an 2 hours later still waiting for order, then eventually they turn up & expect us to take cold food, rang a few times and they kept telling me 5 minutes 5 minutes there 5 minutes never seem to end. When we turned the food away get a call from I believe the manager very rude and saying couldn't find my address an talking over the phone rudely. Very bad customer service...
