The "Ultimate Breakfast" at Morrisons Café in Todmorden is an unfortunate misnomer. What was presented was a greasy, uninspired mess, devoid of any culinary finesse. We visited the Morrisons cafe in Todmorden and had the ultimate fish and chips, everything was cooked to order but our food was soon with us, it looked good, it smelt good and by golly it tasted good. The fish was well cooked and large and succulent, the chips golden brown with the peas without any artificial colouring. Would I have this again? yes definitely. WE WERE INSULTED BY THE CAFE STAFF WHEN WE WERE EATING THERE. THEY WERE ACCUSING US OF TRYING, APPARENTLY, TO CHEAT THE SYSTEM WHEN DOING THE MEAL DEAL OF ADULTS EATING GETTING A CHILD MEAL FREE.
