Thatâs how you compete with the more traditional gelatos next doors and become a âmust-goâ hot spot in Cambridge. Overpriced and touristy as it is, I might still have to invite visitors to try one scoop or half here and move on to the real gelato places.
Again, interesting tastes but lacks the richness of proper gelato and the flavoring can be quite artificial.
202405 Lavender is slightly subtler than expected but not too artificial. Baked milk tastes like milk. My friend said masala cake tastes like birthday cake. The salted Oreo ends up being the less boring but still nice choice.
4: Both sea salt dark chocolate and damson cherry are rather flavorless today.

Roast peanut butter was sold out. I was courageous enough to get the maple bacon (after trying). Savory ice cream works! Bacon flavor melted in my mouth, and then the maple came up. Interesting.

Salted Oreo isnât really salty. More like ordinary cookie and cream. The honey comb is surprisingly nice. I usually go for more intense dark chocolate or coffee flavors, but this one is actually good enough for me to go for white ones. Much much better than vanilla (which I donât like). Milky with crispy sweet crystals.

Thereâs gelato, and then thereâs Jackâs Gelato. Tucked just off the hustle of Kingâs Parade, this small-batch, artisan ice cream haven has become a cult favourite in Cambridge and for very good reason. CROSS CONTAMINATION sadly, whether or not cross contamination happens is reliant completely on the individual member of staff... some staff are fantastic and completely understand - ensuring fresh utensils and fresh ice cream. However, several times dairy ice cream traces are put inside of dairy free options and when explaining to staff that this dairy free ice cream now has dairy inside and it's dangerous because it's an allergy rather than preferences, they just shrugged.
The vegan (dairy free) options have always ALWAYS run out. You really only have a chance if you go in the morning. A few of the other milk containing flavours run out towards the evening but there is still serval options. But the vegan are always completely gone after usual work hours. It's really disappointing especially when it's allergies rather than preference. Often you queue with friends only to have nothing you can eat. More often than not - all dairy free options are gone. I really hope this changes soon and staff receive standardised allergy training as the Vegan ice cream...
