Good that it's had a makeover. However waited ages for my order even though it was showing as ready on the screen. It turns out that a young lad was chatting to the other servers with my order ready on a tray. A young girl chased the order for me at my request. She spoke to him but he presumably said it wasn't order #68, so she walked off. A couple of minutes later, having finished his chat and laugh with three others he turned around and gave me the tray with my food on. I said I wasnt having the chips as I'd waited so long they would now be cold. He looked at me, gathered the spilt chips up with his fingers, put them back into the cardboard container and put them back under the heated section and put some fresh chips on my tray. When I objected and said someone else would now get the (not very) fresh chips he looked at me in the way I would imagine he looks at his mother ie with no respect and as if I was an idiot, and said it was heated so they'd heat back up. There was a young chap in a white shirt standing close by who I assumed was the duty manager. He carried on chatting to the other servers. Come on MacDonalds - get your act together: your customer service is paramount - and is usually good. This chap needs a good talking to and some more training. Read moreThe assistant manager "Andrew" on duty was rude and borderline racist- extremely unpleasant experience in such an elite institute. We ordered the meal and then some extras on a family day trip to Cambridge. Both their card reader and our bank accounts showed that transactions have been approved. The lady at the counters told us to wait for our food. Our number also showed on the pending screen. But after a long while, we received no food. Other people ordered after us started to receive their food. I asked Andrew who was fuzzing around with one of the machine there. He directly accused me that my credit card fried his machine, simply because the machine did NOT print out the receipts for us. Despite I showed him on my phone that the two transactions were clearly pending on my bank account. He just continue accused me for not paying and refused to provide the service. He looked down at me and spoke racistly about us as being foreign tourists. Since we were in a rash to catch a bus, our friend paid again upon Andrew's request, so we could get the meal.
Andrew's attitude and behavior totally unexpected. I have to call my bank afterward to dispute the charges. Completely unnecessary waste of time and emotion in an otherwise pleasant...

I apologise for sending this message to begin with however I am incredibly disappointed in the delivery process and refund process McDonalds has. I have called multiple times the complaint call and explained my case and due to the procedure which is set in place was dismissed and left disappointed. I ordered my food to my correct address and the driver posted my food at a different door that had the same number. (Provided are the two doors the brown one is mine). I complained and tried to explain that these address are not dar from eachother the pink one is on james st and the brown one my one is on the address given. In the end if constant calling i went to go knock at the peoples house where the food was delivered and they said that he dropped it off and then came back and took it. However because the picture was taken this counted as it being delivered. Not only have we paid and spent our money which we can not get a refund for we also did not have anything to eat and nothing was done. I am honestly just sad and would love for this to be resolved in anyway it...
