I had my first delightful experience at the new Italian gelato shop in Cambridge- Amorino, and I must say it was truly amazing! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a wide selection of flavours, each more enticing than the last. It was a tough choice to make, but I finally settled on trying their signature rose-shaped ice cream on a chocolate-dipped cone. The presentation of the rose-shaped ice cream was stunning, and it made the whole experience feel special. As I took my first bite, I was instantly transported to gelato heaven. The texture was incredibly creamy and smooth, and the flavours were rich and authentic. I chose a combination of flavours including coffee, dark chocolate and hazelnut chocolate. They were delicious!!! In addition to ice-cream, the shop also offers other desserts like macarons, waffles, crepes etc. The shop itself is not so big but it had a cozy ambiance, perfect for enjoying a gelato treat with friends or just savouring the moment by yourself. The staff were friendly and offered helpful recommendations, making the experience even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, eager to explore more of their fantastic flavour combinations. If you're in Cambridge and craving some authentic Italian gelato, this place is an absolute must-visit! Trust me; you won't be disappointed.

Very expensive tourist place not worth at all. Big selection of ice creams but Ice cream cost around £8.70 for a ball and some of them are not that tasty. This time, I ordered a chocolate waffle for £5.70, which was taken out of the freezer frozen than reheated on their toaster and i was shocked seen it in front of me than a nasty cheap tasting chocolate syrup was put on top with powder sugar it tasted awful and the waffle was disintegrating when you touch it, which is a result from been made than frozen, than reheated again. I've never seen such a bad waffle made in my life. The staff was not engaging with customers the girl working there is beautiful but didn't even bother to greet the customers or me even when I greeted her she was looking uninterested working there didn't smile and stood like a monument the other two indian boys just made the orders and worked quetly. The place is a ok size for about 24 people nicely decored, clean and modern with touchscreens to order things are getting fast and easy no complications. You can get better ice cream, waffles and crepes made fresh and way cheaper at other places around town. I won't be coming back. This place used to be a old mobile phone shop and before that was a candy shop both of them didn't last long let's see how long this one will last.

Sad to write this as I was a big fan of Amorino and visited multiple times while living in Cambridge. On the 30th December myself and my partner visited the store, hoping to order a gelato waffle. After ordering on the machines we noticed a glitch, whereby the machine charged us for the gelato waffle (£9.70) and didn't send the order through to the front desk. After mentioning this to the staff we were told to order again as it likely didn't go through. We trusted the staff and ordered again, yet the same error occurred. Both £9.70 payments were deducted from my bank account and I clearly showed the staff this. The staff then mentioned that the order had not gone through and we needed to order again. We were told this was likely due to an issue with the debit card, so my girlfriend put an order through, with the same glitch occurring. She too was charged £9.70 yet the order didn't go through. After this happening three times we mentioned to the staff at the desk that we had been charged multiple times and asked for a refund. This did not take place as the staff reassured us the payments would not go through and would likely bounce back.

However, after leaving and checking our accounts a week later we noticed the payments had indeed been processed and the money (£29.10) had been deducted. We re-visited the store, passed our bank account details and contact details to the staff and were reassured that we would be given a refund. Two weeks passed and nothing occurred, so in January we walked back to the store and were once again told it was being refunded. This never took place, despite clear evidence of money being deducted and the staff acknowledging that there was an error with the machines on the 30th December. It's now May and we haven't received anything. It almost felt like a scam, being told multiple times we would be refunded and that we had to wait, yet never receiving any money back. The workers did not seem genuine and clearly lied to us about the refund going through.

Prior to this I'd had nothing but good impressions of the Amorino shop, visited it a few times a month in 2023/2024 and had never once experienced poor service. The ice cream was always nice and the late opening hours meant it was easy to head down there after work.

My opinion has changed massively due to this poor treatment and I haven't visited since the glitches on the 30th December. I would have happily returned had the refund been processed but feel scammed by the staff and the machines. It wasn't just one pot of ice cream but £29.10 worth of payments that were taken, yet no product was given to me or my girlfriend. Not...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Amorino, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was struck by the charming and inviting ambiance that sets the perfect backdrop for a delicious ice cream treat. Now, let’s talk about the ice cream – it’s simply divine! Amorino offers a remarkable selection of flavors, and I was truly impressed by the variety available. From classic favorites like chocolate and hazelnut to unique offerings like tiramisu and fruity sorbets, there’s something to satisfy every palate. I opted for the pistachio and mango, and both were nothing short of exquisite! The ice cream was incredibly creamy and rich, with an intense flavor profile that clearly showcases the high-quality ingredients used. What really stood out to me was the skillful way they serve the gelato. The signature flower-shaped presentation is not only visually stunning but also a testament to the artistry and care that goes into crafting each scoop. The customer service at Amorino was top-notch as well. The staff was friendly, approachable, and more than willing to help me navigate the many flavor options. They patiently answered my questions and even offered samples to help me make my decision. Their enthusiasm for the product made the experience even more enjoyable. The prices were quite reasonable for the quality of the gelato, making it a worthwhile treat without feeling overly indulgent.Overall, my visit to Amorino was a delightful experience! With their delectable flavors, beautiful presentation, and attentive customer service, this is the perfect place to indulge in some of the best gelato around. I can’t wait to return and explore even more of their mouthwatering offerings! Highly...
