Will never visit here again. The food was awful, and we had to wait ages for it. It's probably all frozen and heated up. The desert was a joke. The latte was very white! And the prices are high for the poor quality of food and service. Felt sick when i got home. These people are not chefs they do not know restaurant etiquette either. When my food was placed in front of me, as i was seated to the L and my friend to the R, the cook/server then leaned over me to give my friend their plate and subsequently brushed his arm over the rim of my glass drink! So I didn't want my drink anymore. Since when is etiquette serving done across someone else and across someone else's food?! Really?These people need proper training on how to serve food! The table when we arrived was sticky, and most of the forks I picked up were dirty, dry stained food on. Actually, our visit was quite disgusting. I couldn't be bothered to say anything because it wasn't worth it. It's just how they are used to doing things there, so it won't change. But anyway, I won't be going again or recommending it. Bonus, it has its own small car park at the back. Menu has a few choices, not extensive, but something for most people. I tried two mains as didnt fancy any of the starters on offer. The Fish and chips, mushy (or garden) peas, tartar sauce; also mac n cheese with side salad and garlic bread. Both arrived hot. Chips watch out for the inevitable black bits, but on whole good quality and very tasty. Salad was drowned in the dressing, maybe some dressing on side gives customer choice of how much they want at the time? Environment very clean, staff member very attentive to everyones needs. Such a shame!! After a long day at hospital we visited the pub for our dinner, unfortunately we had to ask where our starters had got to after a 45 minute wait, we both ordered a mixed grill (I asked for fish and chips but that was unavailable). Our grills came out whilst I was still eating my starter, no steak knives came out so I had to ask for them, the sauces that we'd ordered didn't come out either so I had to ask for those too, the chips were like warm, the chicken was over cooked and therefore dry, and both steaks were rare when if asked for mine to be medium, the only reason most of it was eaten was because my husband was so hungry so he ate mine too, it's the first time in every left somewhere...
