How fried chicken should be....! Was great to see these guys have opened in Cambridge now, and glad I stopped in for a visit. The selection is great so there's enough to keep everyone happy here. From wings to tenders to wraps to loaded fries and all the sides and sauces you could ever need. Oh and shakes too. Definitely don't forget the shakes! Plenty of seating inside and service was quick but it wasn't too busy when we visited. When you are hungry and there is so much to choose from, throw in some FOMO it can be hard to decide. But I'm glad I got some wings, as the meat was so tender from their marinade before frying. And great crunch on the coating too. Not greasy. Very good. Then the selection of dips is what sets these guys apart, so many to choose from meaning you can have each wing or tender in a different flavour. Maybe 20+ So good. The food was all nice and hot too which makes a nice change from some other fast food places. I had the Biscoff shake which was nice and thick and perfect to put out the fire from some of the hot sauces 🌶️🔥😁 The restaurant was very clean with all empty tables cleared and cleaned down, and all the staff we met were all friendly, and so I would definitely go back again with friends or family. Slim Chickens in Cambridge is such a fantastic spot for chicken lovers! From the moment I walked in, the place felt bright, clean, and welcoming. The staff were really friendly and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The food was the real highlight — the chicken was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender inside. What makes it even better is the variety of sauces to choose from, each one adding its own unique flavour. It’s fun to try different combinations, and there’s definitely something for everyone’s taste. The sides were just as good — the fries were hot and seasoned nicely.

I also loved the overall vibe of the restaurant. It’s casual, comfortable, and a great place to sit down with friends or family for a relaxed meal. Everything felt well thought out, from the presentation of the food to the cleanliness of the dining area.

Overall, Slim Chickens Cambridge is a must-visit if you’re craving quality chicken in a friendly setting. Excellent food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere — I’ll definitely be coming...

I ordered a chicken sandwich meal with gravy, only my gravy was hot and they didn't give me a drink cup either?

I spent 15.90 and it's bang average, perhaps if the food was warm it would be okay but it was stone cold

Edit: I complained about the state if the food and the gentleman was very calm and understanding and said my food will be 5 minutes

It came in 15 but it was hot at least.

My friend got 5 good size strips with fries and toast for 12.95, he was compensated a drink for the long wait for his food.

His food was hot and pretty decent quality but for bread potatoes and chicken for 13 gbp is extortion.
