Great new addition to local eating-out options. Or actually not so new in some ways because, for anyone who remembers Gattuso's (or before that Cafe Sicilia) on Hills Road, Taste of Sicily is also Gattuso-powered - best of both worlds! Varied Italian menu from which we all had tasty and filling pizza mains but we need to go back for pasta or one of the long list of risotti. Can also highly recommend the artichoke frittata starter and the sorbets/gelati, and the sharing boards looked awesome too. Currently no alcohol licence but they are working on that and meantime you can pop down to the Cambridge Wine Merchant and pay a small corkage charge on a bottle (but I think they said no charge on beer). Only 8-10 tables inside so nice small-place ambience (and some outside space too) but pretty soon booking is probably going to become advisable! Nice people, nice restaurant, so hopefully a success 🇮🇹🤞

Read moreWe’ve just had a family dinner at Taste of Sicily and finished our meal very impressed! The atmosphere was lovely and very friendly and the owners were so warm and welcoming. We had shared meat board, pistachio linguine, seafood linguine and pistachio cheesecake. All meals were extremely fresh and delicious and tasted like you’ve just teleported back to Italy, especially Sicily :) The concession is pending at the moment but you can bring your own bottle of wine for small charge. I definitely recommend this place and looking forward to...

We both had parmigiana for a starter, and then I had a zucchini pasta dish, and my wife had the roasted beetroot salad. Afterwards we shared an excellent tiramisu. The atmosphere is an informal, with a strong sense of a family restaurant (which is exactly what it is). We sent friends there who also loved it, and we will be going...
