I visited the Greggs in Cannock for a coffee and a cheese pasty after a long shift at the hospital, needing a quick break before heading home. Upon paying, a staff member informed me that the cheese pasty would take 12 minutes to prepare. I decided to wait, but after 45 minutes, I approached another staff member to check on my order. She claimed to be unaware of any such order and stated that I would need to wait a long time if I wanted a warm pasty. Frustrated, I opted for a cold pasty and left.
This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially since I had already paid. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced such issues at Greggs; I encountered similar problems at the Walsall Saddlers Centre location. Finally get to the front of the queue and not much on offer in terms of pasties or pastries, disappointing as this is what people go to Greggs for! Had the last Steak Bake much to the disappointment of the person behind as heard them sigh!! š Don't blame me, Greggs need to manage their stock better.
