Chuck and Blade Burgers — Restaurant in Canterbury

As you can see from the stars, the review is going to be good!! Let me set the scene... Last week my wife and I decided to go to Bluewater for a days shopping and as burger lovers we decided to go an establishment which will remain nameless.. but it will say they claim that their burgers are gourmet... (please find the review) Due to the disappointing visit I promised my wife that we would make up for it by going to Chuck and Blades in Canterbury as we have been there before and it was fantastic! So today, in an attempt to score brownie points with the wife, we attended C and B's in Canterbury and sat very excited for our food.. When our drinks were served, I tasted my wife's chocolate milk shake and immediately got food/drink envy!! The waitress was very polite and even wore a smile when I changed my mind about my about my drink (lemon iced tea) and requested a Biscoff milkshake (5 stars for the milkshake alone!!) When our food came out I pretty much dived head first into my burger. When I eventually came up for air I have looked over to my wife in which I saw the recognisable look of disappointment on her face in which I took my life into my hands and asked what was wrong.. She has then explained to me that she thought her burger was a bit cold as well as her gravy bath next it.. Due to this I have spared a moment to reflect and thought that mine was a bit cold too.. but at a good enough temperature to eat/enjoy it and probably be able to eat it faster.. Soon after and in great timing as I put a good portion of burger into my mouth she came to ask if everything was ok.. which I displayed a joyful thumbs up.. At this point my wife has explained that she felt that her burger was cold.. At this point I felt the moment of dread where I thought the burger would go back to the kitchen and get abused and then be returned.. however the lady that served us could not do more!! In short she pretty much offered us the world and we were more than satisfied with the out come. Upon giving us the bill we told her the boring story of the previous burger establishment we had been too and our experience.. We explained that our experience had been excellent and the food was great! Max stars all round! See you again...

Absolutely out of this world!!!

Every single thing on this menu is DEVINE. The chicken tenders are the nicest I've EVER tasted HANDS DOWN. The variety of burgers is ELITE and the gravy dipping pots just elevate it beyond belief. The sharing trays are such an amazing idea as it cuts the price massively if you have someone who is willing to go halfs, and you still get large portions and to pick what you want!

We visited for my best mates 28th bday as a large group, the staff were incredibly attentive as soon as we arrived, they had the perfect table reserved for us and asked if we had any dietary restrictions right away.

We were given complimentary table water and asked for our choices after the perfect amount of time to decide, I myself had special requirements due to allergies and they catered to them completely ensuring what id asked for was noted and taken seriously.

The food didn't take long to come out, all at the same time, and let me tell you, EVERYONE was blown away.

I have visited before for their milkshakes and would've had one if we weren't all full to the brim! They're in a world of their own. Massive and super delicious too!

I love the fact they have a cinema room you can book too!

The toilets were spotlessly clean and the whole experience was perfect. I will definitely be visiting again. My favourite burger joint in the south east by FAR!

The only thing missing is a food eating challenge....unless I missed it on the menu. Id definitely be up for demolishing whatever they put...

I went to Chuck and Blade burger on a Saturday night. On approach my partner said to me 'I really hope that loud music isn't coming from the restaurant'. At this point we were at the top of the road. Unfortunately for us, the music was coming from Chuck and Blade. We walked in and were blasted by the music. It was hard to maintain a conversation as we had to shout over the music as well as other customers shouting too. When our burgers arrived they seemed low quality, thin and did not taste juicy or flavourful for the price. This was very disappointing after reading so many good reviews. Once we had finsihed, we piled our simi finsihed plates on top of each other ready to be collected which took around 20 minutes for anyone to notice. The staff seemed unbothered and dismissive as soon as our burgers had arrived. Before our plates were taken away, we received our bill. This meant we were left looking at our unfinished plates for over half an hour. We had to wave someone over to finally get our payment which had an automatic survive charge which I did not think was appropriate for the service we received. We left disappointed and with headaches from the unreasonably loud music. Which we did ask to be turn down, which only got turned up around 10 minutes after being...
