The Catholic Shrine of St Thomas of Canterbury in Canterbury. A fine church. An enterence on both main roads besides it. A parish shop/stall. The church has an interesting internal ordering. Of note is the martyrs shrine including relics of St Thomas of Canterbury. Also St Oscar Romero. Two archbishop's murdered whilst in/near their Cathedrals. A fine statue of St John Stone a Catholic Canterbury martyr executed in the city by burning. Whilst on busy roads the church is an oasis of calm. Do visit.

A beautiful and peaceful church in the heart of Canterbury. St Thomas of Canterbury Church offers a quiet, reflective space with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is elegant and well-kept, with lovely stained glass windows and a sense of deep history and reverence. It’s a meaningful stop for anyone interested in Canterbury’s spiritual heritage, and a special place for quiet prayer or contemplation. Highly recommended for both visitors and locals.

Attended the Sunday 6 pm mass celebrated by a young priest who meet and greeted parishioners and guest to the church after mass. The choir sang lovely and all attendees could join in. Will surely visit the church again soon. The church is on the same street as the Canterbury Cathedral.

I joined your online Mass on Sunday, November 27th for the First Sunday of Advent. I was so impressed with the traditional service, the blind lector and the choir. I am home bound with a terminal illness and want you to know I will be joining your Mass for many Sundays to come. I don't know if you respond to questions, but if you do, what is the name of the hymn with the words Lullaby, lullaby baby. The choir sang this song with so much love and sweetness. I've never heard this hymn before. Thank you, Mary Ann Augustine North...

Beautiful Church and home for a world weary soul. A lovely altar and side chapels with a stunning Pieta at the back. It is a true place of Pilgrimage as relics of Becket and Romero are kept there. I urge Pilgrims of Faith to go there to the shrine of Becket. There is a lovely history to the church and it has a beautiful interior. Masses there are always a pleasure to attend and the people very welcoming. Surely a destination for Pilgrims and a...
