4 of us went to Zizi's at Whitstable earlier this year on Sunday 9th June, our table was booked for 7.30pm. We were greeted by Theo who showed us to our table; he was also to be our waiter for the evening. Just to take you back a bit to 2022 when we were last in Whitstable for a short break with the same friends. We went to Zizi's then. On our arrival there were some 'Nibbles' on the table that we'd never seen before on previous visits; so I took a couple & they were so delicious that I just couldn't put them down! When the waiter came over I told him how nice they were & he kindly bought me some more; they also disappeared no sooner than they'd arrived!! We went on that evening to have a really lovely meal with the best service & as we were leaving our waiter then presented me with another bag full to take with me... it just made my night! I was really looking forward to going to Zizi's back home but honestly ...I don't know where the time's gone but we actually never made it back until..... Fast-forward to this year & we're back at Zizi again but this time ...Ho Hum... there were no Pasta Bites to be seen. When Theo came over to us to take our drinks order, I just had to mention my disappointment at the fact I could not see any of those adorable Pasta Bites.... "It's Okay" came the reply... "You'll get some free with your first Drinks order". My happiness was restored as I told him about our last visit. Well, our evening continued, with, once again the best service, best food.. in fact, the food was so delicious from start to finish. Theo was & is absolutely, a really great guy, being both polite & attentive; & with a warm, friendly personality. I once again, left the restaurant very happily carrying my very own bag of Crispy Pasta Bites!!! I promised Theo I would give him/Zizi a great review on returning home & here we are several weeks down the line when I told myself this morning to just get on with it!!! So Theo, I really hope you'll get to see this review cos you absolutely deserve it. Good Customer Service sometimes seems to be very short lived in these times which is such a shame. I hope you'll still be there the next time we're back in Whitstable. Please stay as lovely as you are because a warm smile combined with amazing service goes a long, long way. We were served today by Stuart and Gareth and we cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. We were invited in to use a voucher sent to us by Gareth after having an awful experience with Uber eats. Gareth went above and beyond on the phone to ensure we felt listened to and he really reassured us that our complaint was valid and that it was taken seriously. On a rare day off together out of our busy schedules we decided to drop in to Zizzi today for a well needed feast after an incredibly busy work week. We were greeted by Stuart who instantly made our visit welcome. We explained we had a voucher and showed him what Gareth had sent us and he confirmed he had heard about our experience and that he was very sorry for our uber eats disaster. We then met Gareth who instantly remembered us and the team were genuinely happy that we came back to try again. The food was 10/10 and the service was exemplary. Not only will we be back but we feel very lucky to have such a great Zizzi team in our local restaurant. We usually grab a takeaway and head to the beach but we will definitely be eating in the next time we visit as the service was incredible and it really added to our experience. Thank you for such a lovely afternoon....

Having been let down by another Italian restaurant we headed to Zizzi's. We were meet at the door by the Manager Gareth, we explained the situation and that we had a Buy a gift voucher that friends had brought us and today was our wedding anniversary. Gareth showed us to a table and set about sorting everything out, unable to download the voucher due to bad Wifi. Gareth then said that our 3-course lunch and wine would be complementary as an anniversary gift. What a lovely generous man. The food was amazing and we were so full we couldn't eat dessert, but he said he would pick a dessert for each of us, with nibbles to eat on the beach as a takeaway. He really did go the extra mile for our anniversary. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful but I can honestly say Gareth went above and beyond and is genuinely a lovely man.
