McDonald's — Restaurant in Canton

A very sad experience at this establishment. There was a miscommunication with the member of staff taking the order, we tried to politely ask if there had been any miscommunication and the manager accused us of not being truthful about our order which escalated things. He then walked off and insulted the driver of the car by discriminating us for the sole reason of being students "piping up". We were polite and the manager chose to escalate things. The driver then asked what had we been called and another member of staff tried to tone down the situation by telling us not to worry. We said that we do worry because any costumer, regardless to their age, race, religion, should be treated equally and respectfully. We decided to accept the situation and payed for an extra item and left. We got home and 2 items from the original order we paid for were missing. We called and we were called liars again. We were not looking for a refund or free items, we were looking for a respectful reply. At this point, it doesn't even matter if the order was right or not, what matters is that the attitude towards us was unacceptable. It is sad that people can be this unprofessional and disrespectful towards costumers. Things could have taken a complete different turn if the manager had just apologised and said that we had to pay for extra items not added to the original order by mistake. Instead, he was disrespectful and rude. I genuinely don't care what their reply or explanation would be at this point, it was completely...

I rarely use takeaways because of he lack of hygiene..but my motorbike had a puncture and McCowpats were nearby & I was hungry..so.. I've owned my own food biz, I understand all the risks from poor food hygiene!! To be honest the food is rubbish. The shop itself feels like a giant plastic bin..cheap & tacky..look past all the shiny bright colours & you see the truth peeking through the cracks.. 5 mins later & it arrives in a steamed pathetic plastic styrene box, looking so sorry for itself - compared to the advertising photos I've been drooling over..what I have just received is diabolical in comparison!!!!! If I were to purchase let's say a pair of jeans & they arrived looking like they'd been left on a washing line for a month - you'd feel peeved right?..you' get the idea. Upon opening the box I was greeted by this deflated dry looking thing - ok, the beef tasted good..but the rest of it was awful..so dry was the bap I couldn't swallow it without drinking liquid - which i had to purchase on top. It's friday lunch hour, ordered my set meal via the big touch led screen, and then I was wating for more than 10 mins just got my meal. I was told that they are out of stock of the regular dressing for for my vegetable salad after another 10 mins. The whole transaction, I can't see any staffs have a bit smile which I was expected should have. The resturant and toliet is clean and tidy which I saw was maintanance by a lady. Only her gave me friendly smile. Customers within that 20 mins was only around 6 in front of me in the queue. My suggections to this shop is: 1. every staffs should provide smile to their customers. 2. Shop manager must do the stocks checking at every afternoon and send stocks request to warehouse. 3. the policy of staff-less of counters is totally Crab!! Not friendly at all. If you keep doing this, why not laid off all the man power and swap with robot arms! 4. And the one whole agreed to apply man-less counter policy, you better resign your position, that can help McDonald save much more...
