Marley's Brasserie Benfleet — Restaurant in Castle Point

What a surprise, twice in one day. We came on opening day to try the breakfast which was simply perfect. Me being fussy, they even had real butter for the sour dough toasted bread. The staff were all very welcoming and thoroughly professional. We were so impressed we came back for dinner. Starters, mains and deserts were all plentiful in portion size. The atmosphere was really enjoyable, nice background music. To finish it off I must give Skyla a mention. Great people skills, a real asset to the company. Unfortunately I’m lead to believe she usually works at the Hornchurch branch. But honestly, a credit to the company. Definitely going to be back to complete the cocktail list. It's ok, the food is nice, decent burger. The service is definitely needs improvement, were were sat down at our table for 2 at 630 so it wasn't peak time, and it took 20 mins before we managed to flag someone down to ask for a drink. Others in our 'area' has experienced the same'. with 4 what looked like managers walking around plus quite a handful or servers it definitely seems its more about being instagram worth than providing even a decent level of service. we had to keep flagging people down to place our food order, to order another drink. Honestly I don’t know where to start, the menu is amazing there’s so many choices and it caters for all needs! We come here for brunch and the French toast looked amazing and tasted even better!!! We also had a full English what was perfect all the way through. The prices are extremely good value for what you do get, it may look expensive but this is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. The service from all of the staff was amazing they make you feel welcomed and looked after! We will be back soon!!
