We came over for the netball at the university after my cousins friend recommended it. Well what a little gem this is, the weather was delightful so we can in one of the booths. This was mega comfy and had an infrared heater and cushions and a lovely blanket. The outside space is plentiful and a really nice environment to be in.
What we liked was the chilled vibe and mixture of the crowd. It wasn't too cool and there were children, 20 somethings, 30 somethings and beyond. My mum loved it and felt right at home
There was a singer was absolutely incredible, like honestly amazing and ee preferred her covers to some of the originals.
What we really liked about this place was all the little details.
We had 2 pizzas as there is an oven and I had the burger. All of which were very good. I loved the belly pork side 😋
Being pregnant I'm on the mocktails, these were very reasonably priced and I didn't feel like the dag of the group!
Tania who runs things came and introduced herself. What a lovely lady, she was super nice, really engaging znd welcomed us into this lovely space!
A lot of effort has gone into this place and we shall definitely be back! A very enjoyable afternoon...
Read moreHaving ordered a Sunday dinner my daughter and I was told it would take 30 mins, as it's all fresh and cooked to order.
After waiting over 35mins it came, I asked for cranberry sauce, but the waitress said, they'd ran out as it's Xmas, which I thought was quite funny.
I started to eat the roast potatoes but they were hard and cold. There was also a lump of "something " on the plate which was apparently stuffing. It looked awful and was also on the beef dinner my daughter ordered.
I complained to the waitress the potatoes were hard & cold ( obviously not fresh) she apologised and said she'd bring fresh dinners.
After waiting yet another 10 mins my daughter and I paid for our drinks and left.
The waitress was very polite and understanding, but the food was to be desired.
My daughter's birthday...
Read moreI visited The Jam Garden with several colleagues at the start of October. We had all been great fans of The Orange Tree beforehand, and were really pleasantly surprised with the transformation! It is such a lovely welcoming place, is nicely fitted out and has a great busy atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and attentive, especially for such a large group. There was a great range of food available, and several different options for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free diets. The pizzas were exceptionally good, even better than Peter’s, which is generally considered the best in Loughborough. The cocktails were also a very good shout! We will definitely be back, and can’t wait to try the...
