Not the place to go if you're only after getting completely drunk and not hearing yourself think.
Frankly I've been to enough pubs in my time, but the price was right, and I'm not sure what all the comments about unhelpful staff are about because they were straight on it if we asked asking.
I'd be lying if I said it was super busy, but sometimes that's what people want more than a busy night club-style pub - there's enough of those in Loughborough, it's a nice change to find somewhere where you can actually hear your friends talking!
Add into all that the fact it isn't a massive chain unlike most pubs these days (which I'd much rather support anyway) and it's a no-brainer for a nice...

Great selection of cask real ale, keg craft ales and lagers, as well as spirits. Good Vegan and Gluten Free options. All well priced, and presented in a clean layout, with digital displays above the taps
Really fond of the staff. John made me feel welcome from the first day I went in and as a result I am now a regular and happy customer.
