Awful and rude customer service. Didn't want to pick up the phone and when they finally did my partner mentioned 'code' and they immediately hung up on us. After messing up our pizza last time by missing off toppings, we were given a code that was only redeemable by calling on the phone - not ordering online. I called back on my phone and a very rude man picked up and when I mentioned we had a code to him he said we had to order online because they had technical difficulties. I understand they can't help technical difficulties but this was not an option for us without missing out on our free pizza that already had a very limited expiry date - and was going to expire soon. Even after I explained this to the man on the phone the second time he said we had two options to order online or order tomorrow. Again, which he clearly ignored option one was not an option and option two also wasn't an option since the code is only redeemable at this store and I wouldn't be with my partner for another week and when we are it's another place in Essex - the code would of expired by then. I asked the man on the phone if we could just get the code extended instead and he just kept replying with blatant rudeness. At 21:42, we received a missed call from the branch, and the pizza finally arrived at 22:07—over two and a half hours after placing the order.
Frustrated by the delay, I contacted the branch and initially spoke to Josh. Unfortunately, he was completely unhelpful and repeatedly told me to contact Uber Eats, claiming it was their issue. I explained that since the pizza was prepared by Domino’s Chelmsford, they should take responsibility for the poor service and offer either a full or partial refund. Despite this, he refused to assist.
I then asked to speak with the manager, Bhart, only to receive the same dismissive response. When I mentioned that I would be sharing my experience on Google and other review platforms, he simply said, "I can't do anything to help you."
